Hello, I know this is an old thread, but I recently updated my Galaxy Tab 3 (SM-T310) tablet to Nougat 7.1.2, which works fine, however Google Play store does not work. I am not able to download any apps. I get the "device is not compatible with this version" message. Any suggestions? Thank you!
I was able to install AuroraStore, and it saved my tablet. I can now install Google Play apps. Even better, I can do it anonymously as this tablet is for public use at a local junior college. Thank you again Puck, you rock!!!
sorry late reply my brother yes you did right remember aurora store - google dont want old android on their network anymore you are now fully on your own and with Aurora store your good to go - also find alternative for youtube to watch not log in only if you have 2 step vetification account meaning your phone will get code to log in -
I was about to spend money on a new tablet, because it wouldn't allow me to play a game anymore (after 5 years playing), I couldn't even run Netflix or RUclips apps anymore, but this has helped me a lot, once I got the patience for it. Wasn't hard at all, and I just followed every step. Really good tutorial.
I struggled a bit. Sometimes it's not even the cable, it's the PORT. I was using some 2.0 USB hub so the tablet wasn't recognized. I used the one next to the keyboard/mouse PS/2 port and it's all good now. THANKS FOR SHARING, YOU SAVED MY TABLET FROM GOING TO THE TRASHCAN :D (that would have been a shame, that thing is expensive)
Hi Puck. Thank you for making this helpful video. Because of it, my old Samsung tablet has been given a new lease of life. I had been thinking it was time to take it to the local recycling centre, but felt bad because it was still in good condition otherwise.
@@acharyaguy certainly much better now that the bloatware is gone. It's much more usable, only thing is you will need to download apps as apk or download some kinda app downloader. It was also a bit rough to keep it connected since its charging port is fairly loose

I guess I owe you an apology, at first I failed to take in that you pointed to find the correct TWRP and ROM for each device. I have a SM-T315, but first used the TWRP and ROM in your links which are for the T310. While it worked, I could not get the WiFi to work After using the correct TWRP and ROM for the T315, my tablet is now useful again. Thanks again.👍

@@acharyaguy To be honest it's a little bit slow with modern apps. But at least it works again. The app I specifically needed it for, sea chart navigation (plotter) worked well enough, if not very fast. I checked some forum pages that had different versions of the rom, with different features enabled, apparently with different performance. I haven't had time to test them yet, but I was planning to do it at some point.
@@sporgify yes , modern apps would naturally work slower on hardware that is 11 years old , zenonhd os is very smooth , but I had rooted and removed some apps which were pre-installed like adway, phonograph , and some other apps also some system modules like daydreams , maybe in the zeal to have pure Android os i removed some modules which should not have been removed , you can try zenonhd if you want to , the procedure remains the same as with lineageos

Hi Puck, thanks for such a nice and friendly video (with nice background music :) )! I installed softwares like you did (plus gapps-pico).The only problem I had was that I could not copy line and gapps to TM-310 via MTP after TWRP. My desktop (win10) stopped after 30MB's and my laptop (win7) did not even recognise the tablet. So I used my old mac with Android file transfer and had no problems after that. Once again thanks for a nice video, this was my first rooting and thanks to you, it went out well! Cheers!

@@acharyaguy Well it depends what you installed - first of all create bootable usb with rufus and select the options it will give you so you can continue on Local account - even when wifi druver is not installed yet - in official case you would be blocked there already - then its up to you - dont install any virus scanners - use device set performance in advanced aystem settings to best performance if your on a lower performing device and this way even your Bios 64Bit old AMD quadcore will install win11 fine - I say go for it

There is a chance that you have installed totally wrong version of TWRP and system. They are not universal/exchangable. Links in this tutorial are for T310 WiFi (not LTE) version. They will mess your configutrationm if you install them on t315 LTE for exmple...
@@channel48 I started from scratch... It turns out that twr had it wrong and therefore my entire tba3 is the t311 so I changed everything and now everything works perfectly

Hi mate. Ive tried 4 or 5 difference lineageos 14.1 and Xenonhd. I liked xenonhd becuase of root. But the su binary is old and Hard to remove. So i flashed from gr8nole and its smoot, but no root 🫢 No matter what i do, Flash with twrp,odin. Zip,img,tar i cant get it to work. Maybe you got a done patched magisk rom with lineageos 14.1 ( SM-T310 )
HI, Cant seem to get the TWRP files from the github link. Tried multiple ways and just get told the files have been removed. Tried a couple from TWRP. me. Run in odin get a 4 second run and tells me its done. Reboot power/vol up and home. Instead of gettong TWRP I get the android recovery system that doesn allow me to access the rom files? Is there sommething wrong woth the TWRPs? When I reboot normally it just reboots with the original os. I've just rerun everything. Vol D/power/Home. Switch to vol up/power/home. Released keys and now hamging on thr samsung glalaxy tab3. I see you can say or can take a molent but its been 3 mins of ir jusy hanging on that screen?
All sorted, the download sites keep going down and none of the files from the TWRP team would work. Managed to get the G8nole files in the end. After that seamless, really easy, thank you so much!

check if your connection is set to spoof mac adress set it to not do so .. or reboot

Hi mate. Ive tried 4 or 5 difference lineageos 14.1 and Xenonhd. I liked xenonhd becuase of root. But the su binary is old and Hard to remove. So i flashed from gr8nole and its smoot, but no root 🫢
No matter what i do, Flash with twrp,odin. Zip,img,tar i cant get it to work.
Maybe you got a done patched magisk rom with lineageos 14.1 ( SM-T310 )

HI, Cant seem to get the TWRP files from the github link. Tried multiple ways and just get told the files have been removed. Tried a couple from TWRP. me. Run in odin get a 4 second run and tells me its done. Reboot power/vol up and home. Instead of gettong TWRP I get the android recovery system that doesn allow me to access the rom files? Is there sommething wrong woth the TWRPs? When I reboot normally it just reboots with the original os.
I've just rerun everything. Vol D/power/Home. Switch to vol up/power/home. Released keys and now hamging on thr samsung glalaxy tab3. I see you can say or can take a molent but its been 3 mins of ir jusy hanging on that screen?
All sorted, the download sites keep going down and none of the files from the TWRP team would work. Managed to get the G8nole files in the end. After that seamless, really easy, thank you so much!
