This movie was like a "Halt and Catch Fire" reunion. That show was so good, and I feel like they ended it way to early. I could have done without all the Gay in it, but at least that was before they started pushing that stuff so much.
James McAvoy is a great actor. However this reimagining of this film will be nowhere near as shocking or as impactful as the original. It’s one of the very few films that after I watched it I felt disturbed.
Couldn't agree more, I seen it the other week and it's so much less brutal than the original, I seen the original two years ago now and it still hasn't left me
I agree 100% but it's a movie that here in the US not many saw, so this will still be a good film for them to watch. I enjoyed the 1st better but this remake is really really good. James carries the movie with his creepy character.
‘When a particular character gets his comeuppance’- so they’ve completely ruined the story of the original film by having the villain lose. Love this cast but that’s a hard pass.
You still have the original. And a lot of people hate that aspect of the family not fighting back at all. I love it myself, but it does kinda stretch credibility a bit. I'm happy to see an alternative version to be honest!
I am in love with how James looks now, he has aged very well, plus he is a great actor, I love the way his gray hair looks.
