- Visit the town of Bruff. Bruff (Irish: Brú na nDeise) is a town in east County Limerick, in the midwest of Ireland, located on the old Limerick-Cork road (R512). The town lies on the Morning Star river, with two bridges in the town itself. The horse-shoe lake of Lough Gur is 7KM outside of the town. The US President John F. Kennedy was a descendant of the Fitzgeralds of Bruff. Please watch in 1080p resolution.

My Dad is from Bruff as well.Born in 1928 and lived there till the late 1940s.
Still going strong pushing 90 in the deeep south of NZ.
He will love this as he has never been back but still many family relatives there or thereabouts.

I visited Bruff in September 2018, beautiful little town, really liked your video. I'm descended from the Bennett's and Clery's of that area.

Thanks Jack. My mother was from Lough Gur. I went over in Sept and stayed in Bruff and went to L G. Beautiful as ever. Bruff is such a great little town with friendly people. I could quite easily live there. It's got all I need.

Great video. I visited Bruff this year Sept 2019 and loved it, great very friendly town. The park near the creek at the end of the video is where Dolores O'Riordan (Cranberries) wrote the song 'Linger', so I was told by a local. Thanks

It’s Ballygrennan Castle located about 1km outside the town on the Bulgaden road.
