Hi nice vid. I have an issue. On one of the side panels, the screws holding the bracket in place have gone downwards so much, ripping the wood. They will not stay in place no matter how much i tighten them. The bed now goes down on one side. How to proceed?
Gas pistons wouldn't move down but found the solution - the gas pistons were so stiff they literally wouldn't move a cm, we thought they needed replacing but they didn't - the key is to pull down with both hands WHERE THE PISTON is with the mattres on top, this way the force goes right on it, and less likely to damage the bed from too much force at the end - this way you can get it moving and doing it on both sides loosens them up enough for it to work properly
Quick question i have double ottoman gas bed i want to paint/decorate my sons room, do i need to take all the storage out from the underneath, & mattress off then just slowly lift the bed frame to the side to paint the wall. Or do i need to completely open the entire bed again. When i bought my bed the workers fixed/assembled the whole bed for me.
Hi, A couple of the wooden slabs broke on mine and I'm trying to fit replacement parts. I'm having trouble getting the plastic fittings for the wooden slabs out of the frame so I can put new ones in. Any idea how to get the old ones out?
@@JevonRandh hello, had the bed for about 5 years, but after a very hot weather the wooden slaps just fall out Like they shrunk, I know wood won't shrink The frame is twisted to 1 side & hard to keep down flat ?
@@empireman1077 you need to move the bottom corner of the bed either to the right or left slightly this will make it square, even on both sides so there is no strain or stress on the parts.

I have set up about 20 similar beds a day, and the floor you have set up is no use at all because it is a very thin and fragile fabric. We used wooden floors so that the bed has much more resistance.
wd40 and my full body weight wouldnt move one ditached piston, tried the methonf whilst attached to the bed and we ended up sat on either side ontop of the bed to get it to move....it didnt, FLM

If these are difficult to find, sawn timber are easily available in the DIY stores, cut them according to your size, hope this would help

When I insert the gas bar it stops the bed from moving up and down completely. How do I fix it??
Please check if the gas bar is working, inform the manufacture to replace it.

How do I insert a wooden slab back in after it fell out?
I had this similiar problem, I bought similar size from my local DIY shop and cut into exact size and replaced it.

You are not meant to lift it up and down until mattress is on.
