Hi Vanessa. I finally had a chance to sit and watch your video without distractions. These are my FAVORITE videos. Glad you're taking a break with the sheep. Will give time to pick the right Ram. Your approach to gardening is correct. I myself, only disturb the soil right where I'm putting a seed or a plant. But what we do on a small scale won't work to feed the world. The world was on a path to end hunger. But now we have a war that may bring starvation to millions in Africa and parts of the Middle East. We need a flawless summer in Europe and N America and everything S America can produce.....to avoid tragedy. 🙏🙏🙏🙏 Makes me feel so good to see you getting stronger. That was a BIG bag of feed!😁 Love and good vibrations from my farm in OK USA.❤🚜🇺🇸🇩🇪
Hello Vanessa, I was stationed in Boeblingen in February 1966. I enjoyed visiting Tubingen on the weekends and later stationed in Augsburg. Unfortunately I was in only able to stay in Germany for 5 months before going to Vietnam. I have relatives in Giessen, whom I visited. They were older on my dad’s side. My dad served in the Airborne during the war and it was sad for him knowing our family had German roots. I enjoyed your country and wish I had the opportunity to stay longer, but duty called. Keep up the good work as you always do by respecting our environment. It’s there for us to use wisely, enjoy and replenish it, never to restrict it. Stay healthy and drink more bier!
You are looking brighter than you did a few months back. I hope your recovery continues at a steady pace. My wife came back from hospital after a serious operation and is recovering slowly. I can understand your sadness at not being able to do the things you did before as my wife is going through the same process and she is frustrated and sad. Hopefully, all will be good in time. Best wishes to you, Vanessa.
vanissa good evening you have beutiful difrent type of flawers . own vegetables sheep's chicken 🦆 everything you really living in Paradise you are completely selfsuficet inflation can't effect you stay enjoying ever
It's good to see you healthy and strong at your country homestead,it's amazing to enjoy all gardens of Mother earth and you most certainly fit in perfect like in the garden of eden, we all love you ,and be safe be wise and always be aware ,have a good day
Thinking back when your were so upset at your weight lose it great to see you beefing up again, and back to the happy tone of our Vanessa voice. Your garden will keep you well busy and wahat a lovely garden it is, like mine, one big complete controlled natural mess, full of wild life. That Rhubarb I can almost taste a Rhubarb and custard pie. Lovely for you to show it all to us, but better still your showing you now have the energy to work and enjoy it. But don't go to mad at the minute, work, rest and play the same amount. Take care, Arthur (UK)
Oh I just love swiss chard, asparagus, horseradish, blackberries & strawberry- rhubarb pie! I see that with the reduction of having so many farm animals, things are already being a bit more manageable and so I always knew that you would figure out which way to go! You are after all a "smart cookie" and I've never had a doubt that figure your way forward! I've always had good faith in you and your endeavors! All the things that I've mentioned to you in the past still come forth and you are a brave little soul that jams on like no other! You have done a great video once again and Thank-You for sharing Sweetie!
Wauw girl... this is also my dream, and even more of my girlfriend! But she has MS and is sitting in an electric wheelchair. But watching you're video's makes us very happy! Thnx for that 💋💋💋
Get a bee hive. They are native to your local area, so buy the hive and lure wild bees with swarm lures into a bait hive to make sure you are raising local bees. You will help a struggling species and improve your pollination in your property and for your neighbours, who you can then share honey with. Beekeeping was the best decision that I have ever made.
Hi Vanessa! Chances are pretty good that you wouldn't have to cut everything away in the fanciful garden, just cut enough away by making a foot pathway throughout. Thus a carving out to make a very nice foot path! I've done something like that back when I was a kid! That way you can still enjoy all the nice plants that you have and not feel that you have to get the power mower out just for the garden (garten). Then you could create a nice shady spot to set up a seating bench and a big umbrella, when you are ready!
You are doing a great job on your farm, the greenhouse with plants is very beautiful, you have so many beautiful animals. You are a lot equipment for work on your farm, it's a big work commitment. Very beautiful video. Hello good Sunday👋
Hello Vanessa I remember you were very dispondent about your farm. Too much work and too little result. Sheep are too much work and feed takes all the profit out of it. How have you been able to adapt your process to address these problems? It's so good to see you well and strong again, fighting back against all your various struggles. It shows your tremendous heart. I admire this very much. Timothy.
Thank you for this. I live on the other side of the world in Australia and I use some of these same methods. I feel like I learned a few tips I hadn't heard before. Nature isn't something we should fight against with poisons, it's something we should learn to adapt to. If we adapt to nature we can grow a lot of food. If we try to adapt nature to our needs, we end up where we are "Peak Phosphate", land degradation and the global death of pollinating insects because of neonicotinoids, organophosphates and all the other poisons we use.
I really enjoyed this video and hope that you make more like this. Thanks Vanessa. Can relate to most of what you are doing. Nice to see how you are doing something different from the way I am doing as well.
Hallo Vanessa, the self farm is rolling along fine the farming is always hard work , Vanessa you mite like to look at buying a porters trolley for carrying the bags 🎒 it would make your life a lot easier Vanessa. Vanessa ❤.
Very beautiful place you have there Vanessa 😊 such a knowledgeable lady. Here in Virginia you would be called a country girl. In English we word for a setting hen is broody not breeding but we know what your talking about. Thanks for the great video. Take care and God bless. 👍🙂
Wonderful Vanessa... I love your philosophy about your "Small Holding." Nature does not have to be neat and in rows.... You know what you are talking about and it is great to listen to you.... :-))) xxx
Did you just say “part time self-sufficiency farm”? That looks like a full time job to me. I have been concerned about your farm, because you were ill. It’s good to see you have been able to keep it up. ❤️.
the grass is high. Some work while whisting (?) others prefer to talk about it like it : the season is promising.🙂 The little shorts with the boots raise the temperature !
Hi Vanessa Blank . I love your farm videos. I'm so glad you are doing better. I have been praying for you to get well and Strong. Do you still have your Ukrainian guests. You are so kind. God bless you Vanessa. I'm so proud of Ukrain. They are stopping Russia 👍🏻👍🏻💛💛🙏 PS. I STILL THINK YOU SHOULD RAISE HONEY EEES👍🏻🤣😥🐝🐝🐝
Hello Vanessa, thanks for the update on the farm and its looking like a good year for you. I'm just glad you are doing well and enjoying what's important to you. Thanks again and have a great weekend 👋
Great video Vanessa, I really like your natural way of taking care of your farm and knowledge and uses of your plants. Congratulations on the new baby chicks.
Very informative video, thanks Vanessa! Great seeing you out enjoying nature in all its spring splendor and tending your animals. You're looking much better, God Bless and take care!
My friend, l can relate a lot about honey bees, a lot of things you must learn from others, for example if you have two weak hives they can be combined, you must spray them with bathroom deodorant or something so they all smell the same. Bees are always grooming and licking the queen so her scent is all through the hive, if a bee goes into the wrong hive it doesn't smell like the queen so they will eliminate it. Obviously all the bees will be licking the queen so when the deodorant wears off they will all smell like her.
I loved this video, Vanessa. My own garden spot is becoming more and more natural, too, which makes it easier to manage. However, I have a lot of ticks here and never seem to come inside without two or three climbing around on me. I am hoping your own property doesn't have too many. Thank you for showing us around. Nature is most beautiful when the birds feel safe enough to build their homes nearby and have lots of insects to choose from. Be well....sending hugs.
hola vanessa ,awsome vid ,love what you've done with the farm ,especially the greenhouse and rubarb, nom, nom! ,would reccomend broadbeans for preparing new ground as the roots run deep ,yet remain easy to pull up also would love to see the compost pile :),keep up the good work !....:)
Thank you for the great video. Two things. 15:23 lifting like that can hurt your back. You should lift with your back straight up and down using your legs. And when using the string trimmer, you should wear pants or chaps to protect your legs. Love your videos, looking forward to the next one.
I have raspberries, blackberries, strawberries and rhubarb doing good right now. Tomatoes, peppers, lettuce. spinach and many herbs going in the greenhouse and the mini cows just started calving. Busy time on my 80 acres also! Have you tried huglekulture Venessa? I have a couple beds and love them.
You have a beautiful farm-home darlin. I can't wait to see the new baby chickens, they are hilarious to watch as they explore their new world. About the Stinging Nettle, another RUclipsr Ariel at Fy Nyth has a great nettle cake recipe you may find interesting.
Watching things grow Is very cool blue sky above and green all 😂 around. You are lucky!!!!
God bless you Vanessa! You are an inspiration to all persons that truly care about nature! Thank you for being you!

WILD WOMAN had a farm, E, I, E, I, Ooooo !!!

Beautiful place your farm !
Did you just say “part time self-sufficiency farm”?
That looks like a full time job to me.
I have been concerned about your farm, because you were ill. It’s good to see you have been able to keep it up.
❤️.
Part time because it is not full self sufficiency. I have no grain, not enough current, no rice, sugar etc. :-)
@@WildWomanBushcraft ❤️👍😎👊🤙👌
wow brilliant video , the farm is looking fantastic ,it takes a lot of work but it is worth it , well done , and good luck from Wales .
You are so fortunate to be able to live a life you enjoy , i love these farm videos .
always love your videos!
Great video Vanessa you have great knowledge of plants .I will try that Nettle tip for my garden.
Stinging nettles are also good for attracting wasps which can help eat bugs that may damage other plants.
Great video. Thanks.
Hi, I loved this video and would like to see more-thank you.
I love it 💓

How do you know that it will be a chicken and not a Rooster. Just kidding ! Very good informative video.
Everything is growing nicely...I think everyone should be growing their own gardens. But where I live all you see is grass, not many gardens.
Great video, I liked it. I myself started making videos about my adventures, so I'm interested in everything. Grretings from Belarus tourist.
Hi Vanessa, great to see you bounce back so strongly. Did you ever try Bärlauch pesto?
Yay! How wonderful to see a working farm. Thanks for the tour!
They make rhubarb pie here in the U. S.. It is sweet. Not sure if they add a lot of sugar, or if the rhubarb caramelizes when it cooks.
Really like your farm videos alot of information and very interesting. Looking forward to more. Have a great week Vanessa 👍👍

Lady bugs are a natural way to control aphids, they feed on them voraciously.
