I really like these types of videos. I request more of these please in different price ranges. Also, would you consider selecting some 3-5ml samples of higher end fragrances to the mix. They would allow some of us to be exposed to higher end fragrances such as Rojas and Kilian.

PERFECT list! This is basically all anyone ever needs. If anyone is looking to buy a few they can use for years this is it! The only one I haven't smelled is the Givenchy.
I would probably keep the list the same except remove Givenchy and Explorer and buy PV Pineapple Vintage Intense instead. Just personally as I like PVI more than Explorer.

Love your list, however, I'd approach it a bit differently. I have a collection of about 120 scents. so here's my list. I've upped the quality and reduced the number by 1.
1. Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme - $95 for 50 ml. Macy's retail. You can't find this one or the #2 discounted often. (Dude, this your fave and it's a must-have and I wear this one constantly)
2. Bleu de Chanel EDP - $95 for 50 ml - Sephora
3. Boss Bottled #6 (or Intense or Tonic) - $28 or 50 ml - Fragrancenet
4. YSL Y Live - $58
5. D&G The One EDP - $52
6. JV Artisan Pure - $40
7. Mont Blanc Explorer - $46
8. D&G Light Blue Intense - $35
9. ADG Profumo - $78 50 ml
Honorable Mentions for consideration:
Nautica Voyager - really good cheapie with surprisingly good performance
CH Men Prive (Instead of Prada Luna Ross Black) Date night frag with attitude
Versace Pour Homme Signature - This IMHO, is better than Prada L'Homme. I do not like this one.
I also love Tom Ford Ombre Leather. It's way different, but is an excellent scent for the Boss in the corner office. (Expensive)
So, this is just over $500 ($527), but I'd make the argument that the additional $27 is worth it. Also, you can find these on eBay for far less than FragNet or X. For example, I bought a 300ml ADG Profumo from a reseller on eBay for $149 - sealed and its authentic juice.
So, you can do a little shopping and find deals on these.
Hi, I am new to fragrances and I would really appreciate if you could help me out:). My budget is 500$ and to be honest getting less fragrances for that money is a better idea than getting dozen of mid-quality ones. Where I live I can get CAHSEE or BdC EDP in 150ml/5oz size for around 110$... if I buy 2x YSL 60ml the price is almost the same so imo getting Chanels in big sizes is a better investment.... I already own Molecules 01 and YSL L homme.
What I am planning to add are:
1. CAHSEE 150ml - 110$
2. BdC EDP 150ml - 120$
3. Chanel Blanche edition 150ml - 110$
What I am looking for is probably a one or two fresh/clean fragrance and maybe one for the winter? I was thinking about to get Guerlain Ideal Cologne, but since Chanel Blanche is similar I don't think thats a good idea (for the price its great, but overall is ok only). The Bvlgari Amara is ok, but the price 66$/100ml I might rather get BdC EDT 150ml for 105$... I tried Versace Eau Fraiche it was ok, but would like to have something better ...
So my question is if you know about better quality fresh/clean and winter fragrances for under 1$/1ml. It can be also over budget since I can just save up and buy it later, but it has to be max around 1$/1ml at biggest sizes.

@@trash3 Hi - The prices that you have for CAHSEE and BdC EDP and Edition Blanche are pretty damn good. As far as freshies go, there's a ton of cheap choices.
Nautica Voyage is pure bang for the buck. It's fresh and has really decent performance and it under $20 bucks.
Versace Pour Homme Signature is a good freshie as well.
I also like Boss Bottled Tonic.
Mont Blanc Legend Spirit channels Invictus Aqua 2106 and is a good one.
There's also Coach Platinum that rhymes with Parfums de Marly Pegasus.
I also like Dior Homme Eau. That one might be discontinued. The iris opening fades into a nice woody base. It's a fav of mine.
Gucci Pour Homme II. That one is discontinued, but if you can find it for a good price, I'd grab it. It's tea based frag.
Issey Miyake - L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme is a unique fresh one as well. It's got the same vibe as JV Artisan Pure.
I'd also recommend grabbing at least a 50ml of Guerlain Ideal Cologne while you can still get it cheap. It's discontinued but still available. I was wearing it a month or so ago and my 21 year old daughter asked what I was wearing and wanted to grab a bottle for her boyfriend. She liked it that much.
She also loves PdM Herod. That one is more expensive and is tobacco frag. Not a freshie.
Anyway. I hope this helps you out. YSL - Y Live is also worth the price.
@@JobForARetic Hi Derrick - Light Blue Intense (at least to me) is a weaker, less "in your face" version of a Bleu de Chanel EDT/EDP. It has that kinda vibe, and its performance is good, not great. 4-5 hours or so. Better in the heat than cold. Also, it's not close to AdG Profumo. Profumo has patchouli and has a subtle incense vibe. I really love Profumo. It's super versatile and can be worn anytime, anywhere for all occasions, but it's not close to LB Intense. At least not to me. I would get a sample of LB Intense and try it out. I like it and wear it quite a bit.
Of all my frags, I wear, AHSEE, AdG Profumo, Bleu de Chanel EDP or Parfum, Tom Ford Ombre Leather, Boss Bottled #6/Intense/Tonic, LB Intense, Dior Homme Eau. I work in an office, so I rotate through those pretty regularly and I stay away from really heavy loud scents. Evenings, D&G The One EDP, CH Men Prive, PdM Layton or Herod, Tom Ford Noir Extreme. Depends on my mood. Occasionally, Aventus, Dior Homme Intense. I'm honestly, not a huge Aventus fan. I dont get the hype and why it's cloned by so many. I actually prefer Mont Blanc Explorer. (I know, I know... but it's true)
With 500$, i’d pick:
Mancera Cedrat Boise (about 70$ for 120 ml)
Aqva Amara (35$ for 50 ml)
Prada Luna Rossa Sport (35$ for 50 ml)
Prada l’homme (40$ for 50 ml)
Versace Dylan Blue (50$ for 100 ml)
Mugler Pure Tonka (55$ for 100 ml)
Montale Chocolate Greedy (80$ for 100 ml)
Jpg Ultra Male (50$ for 75 ml)
Valentino Uomo Intense (50$ for 50 ml)
Terre d’Hermes (40$ for 50 ml)
505$, a bit over budget but i think it’s a nice collection that would give me a lot of options, i think i would also throw Versace the Dreamer in there next to all of those cuz it’s just 20$ and it’s so good

An excellent value for money fragrance I very rarely see on these lists is Emanuel Ungaro Pour Homme III... it's gorgeous, and a long-time favourite of mine that's regularly complimented. I wore it only yesterday for a hospital appointment as I knew I'd be getting (partially) undressed, and the nurse complimented me... sadly only on the fragrance :-D

Fragrance x and fragrancenet buy fragrances of retailer's that can't sell them anymore as there past there 3 to 5 year expiry date. Most fragrance's don't usually expire but some do, I wouldn't take the risk buying of thier websites. Ysl l'homme and la nuit are the best from the ysl line for me. The one is a masterpiece one of my favourite fragrance's. Dior homme eau is my favourite dior fragrance.

You have the best skin chemistry ever if you get 5-7 hours with Versace Flame and Dolce & Gabbanna the one. The performance ain't shit to most people I've talked to.

Roberto Cavalli Uomo La Notte. A severely underrated fragrance. Cheaper, better performing, and dare I say nicer smelling version of CH Men Prive.

I’d get TF’s Oud Wood 100 ml $325 and Acqua de Parma’s Colonia Essenza 100ml $180. And, I wouldn’t use discounters since the bottles could be quite old. These two would cover all seasons and are much better than any on your list. But, Givenchy’s Gentleman EDP is great!
No reason to pay full retail for anything, and fragrances being older could be a benefit rather than a drawback if something got reformulated. I bought Essenza 180ml for 90euros(probably much cheaper in Europe). It's aiight, but even at that price I strongly prefer many of my other and cheaper fresh scents. It's all down to preference, and Tom Ford/creed in general is kinda overpriced for what you get. Ombre leather is pretty great, but only if you can get a deal on it. In the 200-300 dollar range you might as well get Amouage/PDM/niche stuff. Yes, some Tom Ford is great, but worth the money? Debateable, especially for a beginner.
I'd argue the older the bottle the better unless the discounters don't know how to store fragrances properly. Add to the fact that you can get them for 10-70% cheaper, I see ZERO reason why you would want to pay retail. Unless you want those bottles there and then or those fragrances aren't available anywhere else.
Viktor Hermansson TF and Creed are absolutely overpriced! And, I do think that old juice/bottles can often go stale even when stored properly. Plus, I don’t believe that ANY discounters care about how they store their products. That’s cool that you have 180ml of Colonia Essenza...I think it’s signature worthy year round.
@@shoesnob7987 I was only mentioning the price to illustrate how much of a deal you can get if you look around. For 180 euro you can get a 500ml monster of a bottle, for example. If the difference in price was like 20 or 30%? But literally up to 80% cheaper per ml? Nah. I wasn't knocking Essenza, I'm sure it's great, but it underwhelmed me personally, I even like the smell of Nautica Voyage more, a 10$ bargain bin fragrance. That also performs better on my skin, somehow. I'm not joking. (Me and others might be anosmic to essenza, to be fair). For someone else it might be a perfect signature scent, but saying something is "better" when it comes to something so subjective as fragrance is hard. That's the only thing I'm saying, as both Essenza and oud wood are very acclaimed scents.
Beef Broth I somewhat agree with your point; however, many older bottles/fragrances can go stale and lose performance. Plus, I don’t believe that any discounters care about how they store their products.
