I'm Khasi living in Nagaland currently. My brother-in-law who is a North Indian is posted in this particular outpost. He clearly mentioned minutes after the attack to my elder sister that this attack came from the Meitei armed groups and were prepared to attack more but hearing the causality they retreat back.
He further said that this was not the first time they were planning to attack, the sole intention was to scare off the CRPF Jawans and storm the camp to take whatever armory they can get.

Why are GOI and the news agency so timid to say the attack was done by kuki militants ? Those 2 CRPF personnel were killed by immigrant Kukis. Besides the two securities , one meitei villager was also killed in the same incident that happened in Koutruk , Manipur.
