The most frustrating part of that game is the protagonist just ignoring all red flags and keeps singing like it's no big deal even when her friend is getting assaulted. Noel's reaction really shows how it's not even an option to head back and try to help.

This game is rather like The Closing Shift, where it's a Chilla's Art game that finds horror in the mundane. I don't think this one quite reaches the same tone that game does, though, that early bike ride where the dog barks is a very effective scare. Anyone who's taken a walk or bike ride late at night knows there's not many things that make your heart skip a beat more than a dog barking at you out of the darkness. This game also feels creepy in an almost slimy way; a teacher/coach abusing their power over their students is a bit of a trope (as Pekora demonstrates by fully predicting the game's plot as a jork), but it's still effective if done right, and like the stalker in Night Shift, is an all-too-real horror for many people. Thanks for the translation and compilation, VZ!
Coyotes can be frightened and admit that her one-species bark can startle her. plus, how come this one wolf, even one of the strongest types of the same species, can be even more scared and even apologise? Unfortunately, a member of the same species and type🐕 who likes to bark hasn't played this game yet. I hope she will play and see her reaction to being barked by her own kind😂😂😂
