any news about seat height? i hope it’s less than 89cm but i doubt it’ll be especially on the r version. 690 sm and enduro, 1090, 1290... they’re all 89cm on the r. but what about short people?!
Other than a new engine, doesn’t seem much more than a 690 Enduro with more fuel. I hope they continue the Adventure and Adventure R model they currently use and make one more suitable for street use.
So I mentioned the motor, and as the current frame is designed around a single cylinder motor they obviously have a different frame (goes without saying). I am just disappointed because I was looking for an upgrade from my 690 Enduro R, something that can still do great on trails, but is also able to do relatively comfortable travel and take a person on the back. So essentially I was hoping for something along the lines of a 1090R but not 500 lbs. And I feel they missed the mark.
David Wales it’s cool on the dukes but this bike deserves an original design, not this recycled one. they should’ve made it more similar to the 1290 or the prototype shown at eicma
