was The ECM in the engine bay , the Fuse Box , and theft system replace all 3 with a new key fob and the car finally runs thanks for watching also BCM could possibly be your issue if u have no codes or u0140
I got multiple 5v references and I changed out the ECM ? Could it be the mega fuse ? Or bcm?
My shit been in the shop for 6 months now I've spent over $2,000 already
@@rodneygreen5855 do u got a check engine light cause that will show u some dirrection but the theft moudule on the ignition ECM FUSE BOX MEGA FUSE 175 BCM and if no keys work to the car
@@Handymandan215 see my truck lost power while driving and I changed the ECM and had multiple codes ..changed what I had come up and got a crank no start took it into the shop and they are saying I have multiple 5v references missing they changed all the grounds but didn't changed

I just put a new mega fuse in myself and they didn't have the key that I had made and programmed when they did the ECM relearn so they have that key now I'm thinking the theft module is keeping my truck from starting without that chip with the relearn
Check. Run/crank relay under the hood. It's the closest to the drivers fender. It's identical to the starter and headlight relay.

My Tahoe was doing the exact same thing!! I watched your video and was like no way im about to break everything down like you did. But i was like man i must have drained my battery then I remember my key the part you put on a key ring had broken I drilled a small hole to put it back on the key ring. I grabbed my spare key it started right away

It might be in a safe mode. Unhook both of the ecm plug in s for a couple of minutes then re plug them in it should work

I had the exact same problem on my 2012 Chevy Tahoe replaced fuse number 35 which is a 10 amp fuse as soon as I replaced it. I heard the dinging to let me know that the door was open didn’t hear that before. Replace the fuse jumped and it started right up. My truck was sitting for five days.

Mine just did this and googled it and someone said stomp on the brake pedal several times that their brake switch stuck and I had just drove it and no issues came back and had nothing no power no click but lights and radio worked. So I stomped on the pedal and it started right up.
Willing to bet its the fuse box. Ive been having the same problems but on cold days 2010 Tahoe. Under 15°. First time it was the starter relay. I swapped it with the trans one next to it and she started and i limped in 4th gear to the parts store.
2nd cold snap within a month. My 1 year old optima dropped down to 11.6 volts. Brought it in overnight jumped it next morning 12.1 and pow she started with a jump pack.
2 weeks later warrantied my battery dropped down to single digits last night. I tried the auto start to warm her up and no go. Also this was how i had been starting her in the cold so im wondering if that circuit is a problem too. Anyways my battery is at 12.15 and won't start with a jump pack. Neighbor offered to throw cables on it to warm his car up Anyways so sure. I start pulling relays and taking them inside to test them. Theyre all good. Yes i have a 9v battery alligator clips and a multimeter checking continuity. I get pissed start trying to rip off the fuse box after noticing those gray lock down handles. Start jiggling twisting wires etc finally slam in back down and smack the shit out of it. Bam it started that time. After relay swaps fuse checks wire jiggles i was tryinf to start her. So something is bad inside that relay box. As its 12° out im waiting til the next no crank no start.
i changed the fuse box too . i went to the junkyard and took every part i needed
corrision can get inside the fuse box interiorly so u cant see whats the problem just electrical problems
i replaced it again ( 3 times ) just to be safe
@@Handymandan215 i haven't had a starting problem since ive reseated mine. I found a new one on rock auto just haven't ordered it yet since its currently working great.
I just saw you solved it Ive replaced the fuse panel and ECM haven't done the key fob yet

Turn the key to run position watch for the light turn off then turn the key off for 10 sec and then try to start if it doesn’t work repeat the process.... had to do it with my Tahoe

Check if your Throttle Body is Engaging Might be a Bad Throttle Postion Sensor
And check the connection that hook up to the Throttle body
Should be the middle Bottom that has power
At least 5 V I use a regular Fuse tester shouldn't be to Bright if power
Check fuse 66 - Stud 2 and Fuse 38 HVAC Battery
My started after replacing those fuses and erasing codes .

Check your grounds make sure there’s no rust
Hey handy man Dan I got the same issue going on that you had in this video with my 08 Tahoe once in a while when I’m holding the key in the crank position it will turn over but won’t start then randomly stops cranking over idk where to go with it I just put brand new battery in it have checked every wire and fuse possible have the whole inside dash ripped apart any advice would be awsome thank you

why didn't you burn your finger on that paperclip.....I tired that and clip immediately turned red hot
Your key might have a chip in it you may have to go to the dealer can you program
And it won’t kick over when I spray the tarting fluid in it I just did the jumper like u show in video and it cranks over but when I put the starting fluid in it it doesn’t change anything like it’s getting no spark either
Did it throw any codes if not try reprogramming the key

Man i have same trouble whit my suburban 2010 and before that happen lost communication ecm whit tcm and burn my clutches of my transmission after take it down transmission after 7 months just park decide to make it run my self i know mecanic the problem was the time for my business. Coming back to point i take tran down rebuild the all trans a friend buy me a new valve body and not run it’s was the ecm was bad after change start working but whit he same fault as the transmission start doing and supposedly have to relearn parts i buy computer soaftware and install everything and stop working again. Now check it’s was neutral switch inside trans and start working again but when i do the relearn gears not work 3,4,5 suppose to it’s was again computer not getting communicaction whit bcm and throttlebody position module crank sensor and broke my trans chutches again and finally found it’s was the speed sensor inside trans and now have to fix trans again and power and geound cables not getting enough power
frfr it it gives u more problems go on muncibid and grab a new one for cheaper but check your wiring these cars dont likee water
You wasted your money on the transmission the vehicle goes in limp mode when there's a problem it don't let the gear shift when you fix your problem the transmission will work again

@Handymandan215 the yellow wire on the starter don't have any power but I moved all 3 relays around because they are the same even when I hit the switch the yellow wire doesn't have power

if u got the u0100 code then its the ECM in the engine bay ..... if not its your Anti theft system
Did you bring your PCM to the dealer to get it programmed cuz your car won't start if it's not programmed I have that same thing with my 2008 Avalanche but I still haven't tried it yet so don't count me on it LOL

Did you get your truck fixed I think my truck I changed the fuel pump which I'm throwing up that video right now and still she started but she didn't stay running she shut off so I'm thinking it's the injectors for my truck but my fuel pump was bad pretty weak
The ECM bro and will be start replace it for one of yunk yard 50 to 80 buck because dealer sell them 300 to 500

@@Handymandan215 hey buddy I don't see why it would lost communication. Maybe bad Anti theft Module? I program the key to where the Anti theft light goes off . But still no crank . And if I would to reprogram the key again don't think it would let me since the Light doesn't stay on... so Dam confuse..... will post video..

@@Handymandan215 My cousin had the same problem with his Jeep. Battery died left it dead and then security thing came up wouldn't start. A dealership I think would have to unlock it again. Ask a dealership service they will let you know let them know that the security lock icon shows on the dash
@@botlifegamer7026 i have a key programmer for the immobilizing lock the oringinal key that came with it and brought a new one and programmed it still doesnt start from neither key does...... My only option soon is the dealer ship because nobody knows. ?!😩🤦🏿
