no joke re the rings. I had a bud in the Navy who lost a finger when his wedding ring got caught as he jumped off the side of a tactical vehicle. I still wear my gold wedding ring to church, wedding, any time I need to dress nice, but I wear one of these for sure whenever I'm doing any kind of work with my hands, out in the woods or fields, or have even slightest risk of getting hung up on something.

That wood grain on the stock of that rifle is absolutely beautiful. Simply gorgeous.
😍😍😍
@@baitammo4652 lami trees
@@Aaron-mn8gw that's lemonade wood, must come from lemon trees, I reckon...
Its laminated haha
That thing is amazing! Holy cow! I can’t wait to see more of that cannon!
You sure are taking your time on blasting that big boy... 😆. The pressure from that blast next to the camera was awesome
What was so funky funny is when U said it was sitting in your truck in the cold @ 25° 😁😆😁😅🤣😂
Alaskan born here... traveled to Tennessee and back. Never knew I would watch a channel sponsored them... Loving this channel more and more, Hoot. Happy triggers!!!
Awesome! Wanna see paper plates next! Great job man!
I concur!
That block of clay never had a chance. RIP ☠️⚰️
Woooo weeee THAT is RAW power. It virtually obliterated the ball of clay. Fantastic video.
💪💪 thanks for watching Mike
Man that rifle is an absolute beauty. It looks like it was lovingly hand crafted. I know it kicks like a mule and the rounds are expensive, but id love to see how it groups out at longer ranges and I really hope those groups are as pretty as that rifle is.
When you were standing in the bushes and trees talking about shooting the Jefferey, it looked like you were hiding from it. LOL!
🤣🤣🤣
There you go again! A bunch of Kitty litter to clean up! 🤣 Thanks for the video 👍
That was AWESOME! HOLY MOLY the hole that opened in the back before parts went flying was crazy impressive!!!
💪💪
That rifle is just plain old fun. Don’t think anything on the planet is gonna shrug that round. Thanks for sharing Adam !!
Thanks for watching John
Stuff off this planet on other planets, or in our prehistoric times are going to have issues surviving that too. That's an end game level rifle.
I believe that dude still had plenty of boogie when it came out of the clay 😳😳😳 thanks for a great video!!
😳😳😳
Plenty of boogie on the way out of nearly frozen clay…ker_splat and queue up The Bee Gees because that Norma Solid is looking for the after party!
That’s an amazing performance! From you and the rifle. Thank you for sharing!
I’d like to see 500 Jeffrey’s vs 4570 that way people including my self and see it compared to something relatable that they including my self have in their collection and 45-70 has been used to take Elephant in the past with solid hard cast led rounds I think it would make a interesting comparison
I second that motion
Good idea
45-70 ain't even close
I shoot 525 gr bullets out of my 45-70, at a little north of 1600 fps. A 540 gr bullet at 2200 fps will just have a crap ton more energy.
Yep. Lol. And if you wake up one morning and for what ever reason or cause, there is a T-Rex terrorizing the neighborhood..... You have plenty enough gun for the job. Along with anything that walks on this planet. Heck Who Tee, that will even handle a graboid from the movie tremors! Cool stuff!👍👍
It was a blast seeing that clay block get blown away, literally!🇺🇲✝️🇺🇲
6:24 some jet stream action behind you sir. Also that clay was like the T1000 being hit with the grenade launcher round😆
👍👍👍 WOW!!!! That is impressive on two levels. 1. The total obliteration of that clay block 2. You / your shoulder went back for a second dose of that recoil (credit and respect to you) Keep these 500 Jeffrey vids coming (Subject to muscular skeletal injuries' I guess 😉 )
That's a heepum amount of whooping you sending down range brother. Definitely would handload some way lighter boolots for that boulder thrower😁 enjoyed the clay vaporization.
Awesome! Great video! Just disintegrated 50 lbs of clay! Ice that shoulder! Lol
That was near perfect body posture on that shot. You pushed that rifle into your shoulder properly with your left hand and what you got was a significant push, rather than a vicious painful jab. You're ready for the 70 BMG now. 🤣 That rifle is gorgeous! Never part with it, you'll regret it.
I always use double hearing protection all the time. After tens of thousands of rounds, it adds up.
I can't imagine how a gel block would fare getting smacked by that freight train. Didn't catch the muzzle velocity of that round..? Or the number of that truck..LOL 😂
Lots of fun to watch...Thanks!!
Go right through gel
Now that will be fun, can you make a elephant out of clay?
Elephant
Yep just as I suspected, the perfect Squirrel gun 🤣😎
I think that block of clay just ran away when it saw what was headed its way....(btw...the 10lb. chunk of clay splatted onto the wood fence was epic...)
I'd like to have a couple of those brass to build some wildcat cartridges...lol
The problem with being talented is people expect to see you performing at your potential. With the .500 you are approaching your natural performance level. Good video.
“I had to shoot a deer 3 times with that ole Jeffrey” lol 😂🇺🇸👍 looks like a 30-30 in the thumbnail
I want to see you hijack a angry 400lb wild boar at full speed with this peashooter.😂
Loads of energy, cavity, bigger than the size of the ball of clay, awesome
Wow, makes me flinch just watching. I'm thinking muzzle brake.
I bought one box of Norma ammo for my .500 Jeff, and wasn't too impressed. Out of 10, 2 had loose bullets. Norma didn't even bother to reply to my complaint. Used my rifle built on a double square bridge M98 action quite a bit on dangerous game. Wonderful caliber.
A few more shots from your 500 Jeffrey's will male any 300 Magnum feel like a 223! Great video Adam and boy did that clay go flying! My limit in terms of being able to shoot accurately is my Winchester Safari Express Model 70 in .458 Win Mag. Down here we have always called them 'Sayko' also but the Fin's call them 'Sarko.' I have been collecting them for 30 years and they are a very slick and classy rifle that have always held their value. Thanks for sharing man!
Looks like the recoil of a .22 😂😂,awesome gun and awesome video as always!!
Nothing beats meteorite sized bullets and clay lol👌😀
Man, t never gets old watching big bore rifles doing the business.
💪💪
Outstanding video and I’m wondering if you could get your hand on a laser snap cap for your 500 Jeffery to practice without you losing your hearing
Now those are some bollots. And back at the range, love it.
Thanks for watching Oscar
Been waiting for that one for a while 😜. Still waiting for you to try the 220 Swift for serious speed and the a 35Rem in a real John Marlin 336...not that Remington owned crap they put out for a while. You will fall in love with that 35 Rem hunting in the brush of TN. If you think you may be going beyond 150 yards there are better choices, but everyone here in E TN and SW NC...including Cherokee Indians say that 35 is the best brush and bear gun around. They tend to shoot any of the 200 gr offerings with the accuracy of a bolt action up to 3 rounds, then it might open up a bit when it warms up. Nothing that other barrels won't do if they are not bulled and floated. I still carry mine a few times a year, but the rest of the season it's 30-06 in Savage 110 composite because it's light and I have the stuff to reload it and tons of cheap ammo for it that still shoots great. I have to admit I would love to fine a Rem Mod8 or 81 in 35. Some pretty old guns too. My Dad usually carries his Rem 742 in 06. That thing surprises the crap out of me with those same Federal 150 Power Shoks. First 2 shots are always in the same hole, then it will throw the 3rd round an inch or 2, but that cold bore shot and 1 follow up if needed are dead on every time.
220 swift is on my list to buy
@@WHOTEEWHO Yay! It is really fun to be beside at the range...... especially around dusk. It's not the most efficient round, but it's like shooting 22 mag from one of those little belt buckle single action revolvers only it's better and everyone will ask what the heck is that cartridge making all that noise and concussion....and wondering why they didn't wear both ear plugs and ear muffs!
Good for rabbits ? Lol. All the power any hunter needs.Great video. Thanks and have a great day 👌
Thanks for watching Scott
Great angle on the "block cam".
The Jeffery has the velocity at 250 yards that my 500S&W handi rifle does at the muzzle with buffalo bore 440 grainers. That Sako weighs more than the H&R, but that 600fps greater velocity is pushing back much harder too.
I think my ammo is a bit less $ as well.
Thanks for sharing.
Excellent expansion on that clay! Good golly! It shook the camera! I love these videos!
That was awesome. Who could be afraid of a Jeffrey??
That rifle would knock me out of my tree stand! 🤣
🤣🤣🤣
That thing is crazy powerful.
Godzilla better be careful if he ever comes to Tennessee, you got something for him! LOL That thing is awesome.
We are ready
@@WHOTEEWHO you ain’t kidding!!
I want to see more bullet drop videos with every caliber you own.
308
I wish I could make a mess at my range with clay. My safety officer would kick me out.
Fun fun fun. Thanks. I do not know guns much at all. But isn't there something you could wear that would help take the punch out of the stock of that big boy when you shoot it? I guess you would want it to be able to be worn while hunting(?) and be comfortable and still provide some sort of shock absorption. Thanks.
Yes protect your hearing . I worked around loud machinery and shot a lot and loud motorcycles . Now my hearing is so bad Its hard to use even a telephone . Stay safe .
Awesome video
Shoulder breaker clay killer big bing bang cool 😎 video protect that hearing much respect Who tee who
Never a dull moment 🤣👏🏻
Oh my! Serious rifle for sure. Beautiful rifle. You need to take that to Alaska and hunt BIG Bear.
I'd love to
WTW: I need some clay!
Art store: Sure, how much would you like?
WTW: Yes.
Great work Sir thank you
Nice cannon WTW I look forward to seeing more of this BEAST 👍
Appreciate you watching Sean
Made in Finland . Now we know why the Wooly Mammoths are extinct !
Yessss!!! This is what we wanted! Boom 💥 splat!
Just like a magic trick now you see it now you don't 🤣that smacks hard
😝😝😝
I think the best way to test that rifle is with a Pachyderm anatomically correct ballistic gel target.
Beautiful rifle! That Jeffrey caliber is no joke.
I was thinking don't miss or you have to shoot it again lol!! Good looking gun.
That was awsome . But I'm glad I dont hunt elephant. That recoil is crazy . I thought the 416 Rigby was bad..... ouch
I have a Thompson Center Pro Hunter with a .416 Rigby barrel . Factory loads cost $6 per round , so I bought dies and components for reloading . I've only put a few rounds through her so far , but she's not too hard on the shoulder if you're accustomed to magnum rifles .
Lordy mercy that was a fun video I know how it feels to have on a red hot wedding band to lol think I was using jumper cables quit wearing it after almost hanging by it
That was pretty amazing
Wtw , great video thanks 👍
I heard a rumour that someone was going to shoot a crap full of shaving cream with that bing bang .
Un-believable 👍
💪💪
Excellent Work W!!! Gotta be paper plates, only costs one round too :-))
very nice laminated stock, too much gun for maine deer and moose but was fun to watch, thanks!
I’d like to see you stick up like 20 of the smaller box of clay and see how many it takes to stop it
Wow lots of POWER, better your shoulder then mine! Would like to see that gun versus a whole pile of paper plates to see the penetration power of this cartridge, another great video look forward to watching them after a hard day at work!
Dang there would definitely only be one elephant mountain oyster left out of the pair if you hit him in the nuts. 😆
500 "Sako" Jeffery---What it did to the clay-------"SOCK-O!"
This is a really good video. ...... Everyone I come in contact with . ... No one talks about these rifles so if you didn't put this video I still wouldn't know about this round ...... 😊 😊 😊 I do have a 30 06 I've just never looked into larger rounds
That was awesome! I have been wanting to take a white tail with all my calibers I picked 7mm 08 today, it does the job! glad you had a video on it.
Loving this 500 Jeffery
Me too!
I wondered what will happen if you use that elephant rifle against level 4 body armor.. can elephant rifle pierce it or not, it will be good to know..
WTW !!!! Big gun , For a big o block o clay !!!! JOB DONE ☑️
👋👋👋
Ya correct, flattened.
Thanks for watching Gerald
I wasn't sure what to expect from that beast of a rifle and round. Now I know.
💪💪
I really enjoy your videos impress me I wanna see what it does to an engine block.
Awesome! How boot how many plates and how many bricks? Yeah boy!
Awesome slow mo footage
clay block, 1 gallon ketchup, white sheet, elephant gun
That is a beautiful rifle! 😃👍👍
Nice close up of the impact! 🤯👍 *POOOF!* she gone! 😆
Maybe shoot a 5gal bucket of jello, with the lid on!? 🤔
😍😍😍
Those rounds have some serious push!
Enjoyed the video as always
Maybe bring back the paper plate test? I really wanna see how deep those solids penetrate
Not much of the clay left. Thanks for the video.
You might want to consider cobbling a Fox Heavy Duty Shock absorber on that cannon. The way the 50 lb ball of clay was blowed up real good its now time to double up with a 100 lbs.
Reload some Swift Aframe for dedicated use,and thick jacketed Hawk for practice. Also 570 and some 600 grain .510s work good in Jeffery.
Hey brother cool video, pretty sure that the stock on that boom stick is laminate
DANG 💥 $21 a pop, $424.00 a Box. Think I would be checking to see if Lee makes the 500 Jeffrey in the 500 Nitro. (Lee hand loader). Beautiful Rifle👌
That's hilarious my shoulders not exited about it
