- Welcome to the first session in the mini series which is focused around footwork!
You may not have ladders so be creative and use cones, sticks, bats, tins or whatever works for you! I had a lot of fun making these sessions with my son Louie and we hope you enjoy them too. Make sure you're committed and you'll benefit from each session!

If you have no defence, you are gonna do lots of saves. The stat is kinda misleading and favours those at struggling clubs.

Love it CyclingGK. My lad is an 11yr wannabe keeper and roadie so you can’t believe how motivational your content is. It’s hard for the kids that can’t play or train with their teams at the minute and videos like this keep them engaged and help us parents too. Keep it coming you beauty, we are loving it.

3am in Canada, start my indoor 7s season in 17 hours, this is what I need to prepare.

As a youngster I was a trainee at Luton town (on the dreaded plastic pitch) till I was 18, and had the pleasure of being involved in quite a few sessions with Alec Chaimberlain, Andy Petterson and the legend who was Peter Bonetti. It’s picking up little drills like you showed, and being with the Luton keepers that stood me in good sted for the future. Unfortunately I never made it pro, but thanks to the drills I learned from them, it helped my career in the Saturday and Sunday leagues no end, and helped me to to play till I was 42. Your drills will only help budding keepers learn footwork, and hopefully you’ll will do a video on positioning and handling and being light on your feet. Keep up the great channel, and only wish I had something like RUclips when I was a kid.

That is great Ben. I coach an under 12 side and it has been tough coming up with ideas on drills/exercises to do with the kids to keep them motivated especially when trying to do these via Zoom. I will be sending this link to the team.

Your son has to reignite the cycling gk channel in the future when you retire. The year 2030 and the cycling gk has uploaded for the first time in 7 years with new go pro footage from your son. I would love to see that even when I will be 24🤣🤣
It’s sad to say but Louie doesn’t play in goal I play with him but he could make an attacker one somehow
