The contestants are interesting people; the presence of a DJ adds a unique/cool touch; the behind the scenes footage showing the audience members and the catered food shows that y'all are thinking things through and aiming for a quality product. Also, the host is the right guy for the show (upbeat personality, good sense of humor, and has a strong command over controlling the flow of the show, makes the contestants and audience feel appreciated).
