Ty blows my mind, he's so prolific yet I love everything he's released. I'm listening to Fuzz a lot more these days but Ty's last 3 solo albums, Freedom's Goblin, First Taste and Harmonizer are exceptional recordings.
imo Ty's best was with the first group of 4 Ty , Mykal , Charlie , and Emily they were how do you say "young , dumb , and full of cum (not Emily) ty segall , lemons , and melted are three slabs of brilliance
caught these guys at the smell in los angeles right around this time. ON ACCIDENT!! after picking our faces up from the floor, my compatriots and I bought the hell outta that 7" on trouble in mind and I play it to this day. somebody should press this onto vinyl as well!
Jay Reatard was a killer drummer too, yet could play guitar and bass and keyboards just as well. His voice was just the best tho: definitely hear the Rockn’roll of old time Memphis in his delivery. Like a Rockn’roll fiend returned to the world in anger!
Awesome! I hate to just ignore the fact that you are probably a pretty good musician to be in that position, but did you get to meet the guys in Fuzz? What are they like?
+Mike Matteson No prob man! Yeah, I've met most of the dudes in that SF now LA circle and you may never meet somebody as down to earth as Ty Segall and Charlie Moothart, Mikal Cronin too, and of course Chad and Emily, and Thee Oh Sees. I think because they come at it from the garage side of things they understand that success comes mostly from sticking with it and being yourself, which myself coming from a punk/hardcore backround I totally dig looking at music that way. Ty is amazing and he deserves every last bit of credit he is getting, and Charlie too.
68 mil visitas, apuesto que 67 mil de esas deben ser solo mías. qué live mas espectacular la putamadre, esto si que es rock n roll AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I was at their show here in Chicago in October 2013, primarily to see Purling Hiss. The sound was so incredibly awful at the Logan Square Auditorium, I couldn't appreciate FUZZ or Purling Hiss. I left angry, and without a proper appreciation of Fuzz. That has since been fixed 3x. If you get a chance to see these guys live, DO SO.
I was at that show as well and second the poor sound quality. Plus that place wouldn't let you go outside for smokes. Fortunately their ATM was outside and they let you outside to "withdraw money". Although the sound wasn't great, Fuzz was.
+E Maxon I was aat a music festival in 2015 and wasn't planning on watching them. When I started to listen to their concert I had to see who they were cause holy crap it was great. Was not disapointed.
I was at this show, it was recorded at the SF eagle on Ty Segals birthday. It was one of the rawest and sweatiest shows I've ever been to
I use to just be a guitarist but ty made me wanna start drums and now i can drum
+lobob fresh cool story bro
mayb u can teach him guitar in exchange
funny thing is Ty was a drummer before he was a guitarist.
I am a drummer but Ty is the reason I picked up a guitar and bass and started recording! He's one of the most influential musicians around.
Rock will NEVER fucking die.
How could it die when its burning inside of us and everybody listening to that sweet rock n roll
nah id win

+Lee Keeler already on vinyl, and it sounds as rad as you would expect
Man ty’s added scream to ‘this time I’ve got a reason’ is so raw
The 8 people who don't like this album are from New Jersey
Seminal album in my development of striving for sweat and hardness. Old band used to cover fuzz’s fourth dream back in high school :,)

Chris Woodhouse.
@@chrismathewsjr FUCK KING LEGEND
Drums in the back, guitar up front, vocals in the middle. The new album does not sound like this at all.
At first I thought that it was JD who yelled happy birthday!
@@LiveinReykjavikit was! there’s a photo of him handing a birthday cake to Ty during One haha

Awesome recording! So stoked to open for them tomorrow. I do miss Roland though.
+Patrick Finn did you say you opened for Fuzz?
+Mike Matteson Yes, it was the last show I played with Old Light. It was at Dante's in Portland Oregon, May 21 2015. Fuzz was amazing of course.

Finally saw them in a proper small room at PJ's Lager House in Detroit in December. They absolutely killed. SEE THEM if you get the chance.

Come on dad give me the car tonight
I tell ya what I’m gonna do....

The drummer listens to lots of Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin.

Hall of fame drumming. Take a lesson.

If I wanted to listen to Sabbath, I'll just go listen to them instead. They just remind me of them so much.
