@@snowstorm5147 Sorry for the late response but nope. Captain marvel was the first avenger as Captain America was set in 1944 during world war, nick fury does NOT exist back then. But in captain America: Winter soldier, that's in the 2000's, AFTER the avengers initiation. After captain marvel ended, Nick was making the Avengers Initiation few days AFTER he got on earth. Claiming, captain marvel is the first avengers as she was asked to be recruited but answered soso in near the end, so yeah captain marvel is technically the first avenger.
