Therefore black ops 6 will not look, feel, play like a traditional black ops game. It’s going to look, feel, play like MW19, Vanguard, MW2, MW3. It’s not going to have that arcade style black ops feel that all other games before it had. I just have a feeling that everyone is going to be disappointed because they’re expecting a black ops game but what we’re actually going to get is a modern warfare style game masquerading as a black ops game. Biggest thing people dont understand of the feeling between the two games is aim assist. Its almost non excistent on Xdefient and i feel many cod fans cant shoot straight enough and miss the 200% aim assist in cod😂😂so they would rather complain and make it public that the game is shit rather than just letting it go
Xdefiant feels good especially if you’re older players who played mw2-bo2 era back in the day. It feels more boots on the ground has much less aim assist so you actually have to control your gun well great ttk, maps flow well. People who are complaining seems to be more younger gen who grew up on cracked out cod and warzone
That's how I feel. When I was playing yesterday, I was worrying about holding spawns, watching for flanks, timing tacs usage, instead of worrying about getting wall-banged through the map, camera'd, or snaked. I think it feel smooth too. 👍

Yeah sooo Bo4 and Coldwar was straight fire, best zombies i've ever experienced in Coldwar, ranked was pretty good, great maps and guns. Bo4 maps were 10/10, colourful and very even and balanced, guns were fire. Vanguard trash. Mw2 trash. Mw3 trash. ALL Black Ops games have been crazy whilst all Modern Warfare games have been buggy, delayed, broken, dark smokey maps, guns are awful. Nobody likes Mw games lmao Scumps all time fav Cod was Bo4. I’ve been enjoying Xdefiant mostly because I don’t have to sweat my ass off in every lobby cause I am good at the game. Almost like most of these fps games would actually be tolerable and dare I say fun to play if they didn’t have skill based matchmaking
Game is a 6/10 at best. Bad bullet reg, getting hit around walls all the time, mag dumping but u get killed in 2 bullets, floaty movement, some animations are broken, some abilities are unbalanced, other than that it’s a fun game from 20 years ago.
I honestly was about to give up on COD for the first time this year but knowing Treyarch has a game coming that they have been working on this long has me hyped. I honestly may just start only playing the years they make the game….. Also I loved BO3 and BO4 was solid minus the stem shots and some of the corny specialists but BO4 was one of my favs behind 3. I will say I don’t like the ranked system Treyarch makes it so if you just play a lot you can lead your group it’s less about skill or winning and losing. I do hope they use a ranked system more like the one used this year or WW2 would be awesome. Overall I’m stoked for the next game finally!!!! Also bring back Blackout, wayyyyyyy better than Warzone!
I enjoy Xdefiant, definitely not perfect tho. I personally think the intel suit just needs a little tweak and I actually don’t mind the weapon leveling.
The recent MWII & MWIII titles have easily been the best. A side-effect of enlisting several different studios to crank out your games is you end up with community division.
Can't wait to have a functional play of the game back, if they have figured out how to do it with the current engine which both SHG and IW couldnt (without cutting out half of the play).

I'm enjoying xDefiant a lot. I think it's fair to say it feels clunky considering everybody is used to CoD. Aiming and shooting, no matter what people think of the title, always feels super clean in CoD. When I first played Apex when it came out i said "this game feels bootleg af" but I got used to it and it felt good after playing for a few days. Its just how it is when you play one game for so long and then try a similar game.
I had that same issue where the aim (on controller) always feels like something is pulling your aim. It just aim locks onto random spots - Like on COD when you get aim locked onto a random enemy way further in the distance.

COD is so much fancier now that it’s hard to compete. All the gun camos, operators, old and new maps, Pacing, movement etc.. the list is endless. PLUS culture from being around for so long. I don’t no how XD is going to keep people coming back. It’s fun to play and very nostalgic feeling but I fear it just feels like an old game. Fun to hop on with friends who are casuals though.
The fact Toronto at 3rd has triple the points of Miami/Seattle at 5th is insane. Also the gap between 3 and 4 is wild. 3 team league with NYSL trying to keep up

COD has now Shadow banned me smh. what have i done? idk, i played resurgence and private games with my friends to relive nostalgia playing fair gunfights with specific fun builds. my Resurgence game had 17kills when me and my friends were winning 4-5 games in a row if i don't count that 1 game where the circle closed and we died with no gunfight. could of been hackers with the mantle glitch to go under the map, or players that had a bunch of stims. i also get lobbies getting 100 plus kill games here and there on small maps. i didn't think i had that Dog in me tbh to reach Shadow banned lobbies without hacking since they keep making new op guns every half month with a superi being op.
XDefiant just looks weird to me. I wouldn't say it's horrible. But at the same time, I'm not jumping for joy running to play it. Not to mention it won't last against Cold War or Golf War or whatever it is. And the game to follow. It'll be hard for it to hold out through those games. If it had come out in Vanguard? Maybe it'd have an honest shot at being a semi competitor game.
Dashy's forehead has a pretty bad take here. The younger pros were like 7 when MW2 came out. Appealing to that style of gameplay doesn't make it horrible and not being able to mantle is a developer decision. It also doesn't make the game "horrible."

I’m actually really liking xdefiant, some balancing to some abilities and I feel I get killed around corners a lot but besides that I like the pubs a lot haven’t dabbled much in ranked yet
XDefiant is pretty solid, but it does need some changes. The movement can be tweaked a little in regards to the ADS after sprint, mantling, and the slide could be tweaked either way. (Make it better to give more adance movement or make it slower to make it more boots on the ground. The gun leveling is way too slow. The guns are pretty weak and aren't very good until you get some of the attachments needed. It definitely feels more AR heavy until you can get some of the better Subs and the attachments for the Subs. The maps play very well, they look good visually, but again some matle spots updates needed. The operators are pretty good, nothing too crazy on them. Some may need slight tweaking. All in all it is a good game, but there are changes and updates needed. The first being the leveling for the guns and your player level.
I played a good 6 hours on day 1. If I played 6 hours of MWlll pubs I'd be mentally ill. Enough said. It's funny how his teammate has no issues with movement.. skill issue?

Wasn’t a fan of the beta. Nothing really else came with the launch that has made me change my mind. IMO the TTK feels like it changes per person even if you hid basically identical shots on the 2 people and the movement and slide canceling just feels super clunky and weird to move around that way. The fact there is certain mechanics you can’t get rid of the hand up while sliding the weird way you put your gun down when sliding. Just stuff you should have to deal with while your playing a supposed movement based FPS. The weapon leveling and the extra stuff with it just drag it down worse imo.

My only problem with no sbmm is that i just played a game where the opposite team kd was like 48/2, 36/5, 28/6 while every one else on my team other than one guy was worse than double negative. Idk if there is a way to balance the teams after the players are already in if that makes sense so unlike ranked not every one is roughly the same skill but the teams are still balanced?
It will even out in ranked once people establish their ranks. That’s how the game should be though, because in all reality only bad players benefit from sbmm of any kind.
@cineryy I played it out anyway coz it takes a few minutes to load into a new game at least on xbox. But if the solution is just people leaving then that makes the game unplayable. Rocket league had this EXACT problem that meant they have to start timing out people who left too often

It's either stop complaining or just party up with good people at the game. Not every game will be sweaty in xdefiant compare to cod

The recent MWII & MWIII titles have easily been the best. A side-effect of enlisting several different studios to crank out your games is you end up with community division.

I'm enjoying xDefiant a lot. I think it's fair to say it feels clunky considering everybody is used to CoD. Aiming and shooting, no matter what people think of the title, always feels super clean in CoD. When I first played Apex when it came out i said "this game feels bootleg af" but I got used to it and it felt good after playing for a few days. Its just how it is when you play one game for so long and then try a similar game.
I had that same issue where the aim (on controller) always feels like something is pulling your aim. It just aim locks onto random spots - Like on COD when you get aim locked onto a random enemy way further in the distance.
Xdefiant is fucking God tier people just wanna hate for 0 reason not only that mfs with 0 movement like Dashy and sib talking about it feeling clunky like bro yall mfs don’t move why

X-Defiant is 1000% better simply because it can’t be hacked and it’s freakin wonderful!! It’s like old COD but better! Kids and I have been LOVING it!!
COD is so much fancier now that it’s hard to compete. All the gun camos, operators, old and new maps, Pacing, movement etc.. the list is endless. PLUS culture from being around for so long. I don’t no how XD is going to keep people coming back. It’s fun to play and very nostalgic feeling but I fear it just feels like an old game. Fun to hop on with friends who are casuals though.
The fact Toronto at 3rd has triple the points of Miami/Seattle at 5th is insane. Also the gap between 3 and 4 is wild. 3 team league with NYSL trying to keep up

The ads feels clunky it’s tough to lock onto heads mid gunfight could be a aim assist issue or just the ADS in general.
Xdefiant is fun and a cool concept overall. Only complaints is the movement feels very clunky, and the gun play at sometimes is hit or miss.
COD has now Shadow banned me smh. what have i done? idk, i played resurgence and private games with my friends to relive nostalgia playing fair gunfights with specific fun builds. my Resurgence game had 17kills when me and my friends were winning 4-5 games in a row if i don't count that 1 game where the circle closed and we died with no gunfight. could of been hackers with the mantle glitch to go under the map, or players that had a bunch of stims. i also get lobbies getting 100 plus kill games here and there on small maps. i didn't think i had that Dog in me tbh to reach Shadow banned lobbies without hacking since they keep making new op guns every half month with a superi being op.
the bottom cdl teams are actually really fun to watch cause they have champs to fight for so its a fun storyline

XDefiant just looks weird to me. I wouldn't say it's horrible. But at the same time, I'm not jumping for joy running to play it. Not to mention it won't last against Cold War or Golf War or whatever it is. And the game to follow. It'll be hard for it to hold out through those games. If it had come out in Vanguard? Maybe it'd have an honest shot at being a semi competitor game.
Dashy's forehead has a pretty bad take here. The younger pros were like 7 when MW2 came out. Appealing to that style of gameplay doesn't make it horrible and not being able to mantle is a developer decision. It also doesn't make the game "horrible."

I’m actually really liking xdefiant, some balancing to some abilities and I feel I get killed around corners a lot but besides that I like the pubs a lot haven’t dabbled much in ranked yet
XDefiant is pretty solid, but it does need some changes. The movement can be tweaked a little in regards to the ADS after sprint, mantling, and the slide could be tweaked either way. (Make it better to give more adance movement or make it slower to make it more boots on the ground.
The gun leveling is way too slow. The guns are pretty weak and aren't very good until you get some of the attachments needed. It definitely feels more AR heavy until you can get some of the better Subs and the attachments for the Subs.
The maps play very well, they look good visually, but again some matle spots updates needed. The operators are pretty good, nothing too crazy on them. Some may need slight tweaking.
All in all it is a good game, but there are changes and updates needed. The first being the leveling for the guns and your player level.

Personally I like the game I do feel like it is a bit clunky it doesn’t feel as smooth as other games. But it is so much fun I can’t complain

Wasn’t a fan of the beta. Nothing really else came with the launch that has made me change my mind. IMO the TTK feels like it changes per person even if you hid basically identical shots on the 2 people and the movement and slide canceling just feels super clunky and weird to move around that way. The fact there is certain mechanics you can’t get rid of the hand up while sliding the weird way you put your gun down when sliding. Just stuff you should have to deal with while your playing a supposed movement based FPS. The weapon leveling and the extra stuff with it just drag it down worse imo.

XDefiant is fun to me. I do think they need to increase the weapon leveling, I think more things need to be climbable, and I think it definitely needs the search mode.
Xdefiant better have the best anti cheat otherwise I see people surfacing and grabbing cash. Because I don’t see this competing with CoD nor holding LAN events to mitigate cheating this game still looks like Ubisoft shit.
My only problem with no sbmm is that i just played a game where the opposite team kd was like 48/2, 36/5, 28/6 while every one else on my team other than one guy was worse than double negative. Idk if there is a way to balance the teams after the players are already in if that makes sense so unlike ranked not every one is roughly the same skill but the teams are still balanced?
It will even out in ranked once people establish their ranks. That’s how the game should be though, because in all reality only bad players benefit from sbmm of any kind.

@cineryy I played it out anyway coz it takes a few minutes to load into a new game at least on xbox. But if the solution is just people leaving then that makes the game unplayable. Rocket league had this EXACT problem that meant they have to start timing out people who left too often
@woods7700 not necessarily unplayable because if it were sbmm every game it would be just sweaty depending how good you are, where as no sbmm has variation of players. It's either stop complaining or just party up with good people at the game. Not every game will be sweaty in xdefiant compare to cod
