I dont understand why people think this show was just OK. It was great, man! I really hope they intertwine gen v and season 4.
It's the characters mainly. The quality of the story, satire, worldbuilding and how Vought is still shown to be the main causing of everything bad that happens is carried on from The Boys but none of the main characters are as compelling as Butcher, Soldier Boy, Hughie or Homelander. It wasn't a dumpster fire though, most spinoffs turn to trash but this one has good feet to stand on
@@mr.punisher5100 in what way. World building isn't a valid critique because it's already been established in the boys. The characters are great and the powers are unique as always. They are just different and not all full blown stereotypes.

In the comics, he was the parody of Batman and Iron Man. I guess it didn’t fit the scale of the show.

After watching the show, he's legitimately scarier than Homelander. The scariest villain of The Boys. They took one of the non-evil Supes and made him the most evil. Before wathcing the shoe, i thought he was a good guy and the atudents were evil. Hes still scary but still. Nah.
