All the Scotty/Lauren moments after he won was cute. I wasn't a fan of either of them, but I enjoyed watching that. Wish you would have put the part where she kissed the heck out of his face at the very end, that was adorable. Poor Jack Black... haha, he wanted a hug Scotty!
Scotty IS the future of country music. He will return it to the styles like Alan Jackson and George strait not today's lady antebellums and Taylor swifts.
He could have sang anything during the finale week and still won because people love him. My mom never votes for stuff like this, and she voted 150 times for Scotty. I don't see it. I think there are a lot of people who could sound like that, and dare I say the only time he showed any emotion is when he won (which is the only time a kinda sorta liked him). I think Haley or Pia were the best voices this season, and at least Haley deserved to be in the finale over Scotty and Lauren.

Lauren is like Carrie Underwood. She can sing country but she can also sing rock, pop, stuff like that and can make her voice sound like that. scotty sang other things but his voice has that country sound. LAUREN ALAINA HAS THE BETTER AMERICAN IDOL VOICE AND THEREFORE SHOULD HAVE WON!!
@elvise101 They said they'd stick together, so it seems they're becoming closer together, more than just friends now. So it seems to couples were brought together through this show. Casey, and Hailey, then Scotty and Lauren. I can see both couples doing some songs together for album and concerts. Time will tell us if they last or not. As they're all still young
@OrlockBJ You have to realize his shock after winning! Can you sing while knowing that you won one of the biggest awards in America? Besides he was almost crying and was hugging his family and friends. Instead of taking the spotlight he cared more for his loved ones.
I knew when Randy keep on praising Lauren - I know Scotty will win for sure. The same stratedy they did with David Archuleta keep on praising David A and at the end David Cook won. I like Scotty and Lauren.

We were praying and doing the sign of the cross ( cause we are all Christians) and when he started singing "I love you this big" we started crying...he touched our hears this season. So happy for him and the rest of the top 11! Can't wait for when the Idol tour comes to Toronto!
What a talented guy and more deserving than anyone of the Idols this year! He has an extremely long career ahead of him thanks to the good head on his shoulders. Kudos to his parents for raising such an amazing son and encouraging his talent to blossom. I wish the absolute best for him and can't wait to hear a duet with Lauren! The next Tim McGraw and Faith Hill> Johnny Cash and June Carter?

For what its worth I think they revived the brand with all the changes I watched it occasionally as did many and more.
