Okay, first of all...FUNNY!
Second...in all honesty, I have to agree with Tacarra on this one. I used to work at Rite Aid off and on for almost 10 years throughout my 20's. I was dating my girlfriend (who would eventually become my wife), and while she was supportive of me at all times, she felt that I needed something more substantial. I, of course, played the "But I like my job" card. But reality struck hard when I submitted my application to become an assistant manager and not only did my current boss at the time blocked the process, he gave the position to a much older woman that was only working there for 3 months! So when Tacarra mentioned that his son was his boss...I felt that! Thankfully, I was able to land a way better job as a military instructor and later a military mechanic, I married my girlfriend in 2011 (9 year anniversary tomorrow!) and I never went back.
Long story short...Dairy Queen don't love you, Troy!!! Move on!!!

Very true, but in this situation I think she sees more in him and wants him to see more in himself than a Dairy Queen. He became complacent and since he liked the job never looked beyond that. It’s hurting his growth and she gave him a reality check. Now she obviously had her own personal gripes with him still working for Dairy Queen, but I think it came from a good place when you learned his background.
@@Lilc-rn9st I understand. At that age you should have evolved, especially if you have the opportunity. For someone who has worked a similar job I wouldn't want to be complacent to a dead-end job. So I see her perspective because no one should settle for less. However, like I stated before, there are bums who don't have ambitions nor feels the need for responsibility to provide for themselves let alone for their family.
