For once, a parent that isn’t hogging the spotlight or shoving an overworked and uninterested kid up on stage. She is a real pro. And the boy has a lovely voice. It takes a lot of confidence to get up there and belt it during puberty. I hope he goes far. Looks like the girls were swooning.

It is truly beautiful that she sang with him and not above him. She complimented him and let her little bird strengthen his wings. Her tears at the end… those tears of pure pride… I’ve shed those many times. Watching her … I shed tears with her… cheering her on as she quietly teaches him to fly.

Since I made this comment 4 or so yrs ago I'm not even sure what was going on back then but from my YT experience it usually means that I was tired of reading the ugly comments that people make & then delete later. It's frustrating when they do that because it changes the history of the thread. What I love about this mom is how she supports her child,gives him a chance to shine,shows him the path,let him walk on his own yet keeping a close distance where she can see him.
She is teaching him how to stand on his own.
That's a beautiful chinese proverb.. but its not from in the Bible.. Mt 4:19 is something else.. but I completely agree with your point.. they were so refreshingly different and breathtakingly beautiful.
