  • Designed between 1891-1892, the Charnley-Persky House is recognized as a pivotal work of modern American architecture. Located in Chicago, it is a National Historic Landmark and now serves as the headquarters of the Society of Architectural Historians. In my opinion it is pretty cool, but as it is a utilized building, no original furniture is used and there is limited access to the bedrooms and third floor. I did my best in a tight tour group.

Amazing and beautiful. We are so lucky to have works by Sullivan and Wright still around.
