In the us when it comes to weapons, California is going to be the strictest state. A tyipcal folding pocket knife is legal for carry everywhere. There are a lot of states that dont care if you have an actual sword with you.

The first knife that I ever brought was an 8” switchblade (3” blade). Sense knifes aren’t considered dangerous weapons in my state I can legally open carry it as a minor. I keep it for protection but I use it for everyday normal tasks, no I haven’t had to protect myself and I only plan on doing so if my life or someone else’s life is being threatened.

American here: Our knife laws are much less strict than yours. When you're a minor there's a restriction on blade length/type of knife, but if it qualifies as a "deadly weapon" you have to be 21 or older to have it (in my state at least). That includes fixed blades of a certain lenth, and basically anything that isn't considered a pocket knife. But when you reach age 18, you can own nearly any knife you can think of. However, laws vary drastically from state to state, and our laws are considerably more relaxed than other places.
That’s a nice thought that knives aren’t weapons but we live in a world where people don’t always have the best intentions
A lot of things can be used in dangerous ways, but they aren't meant to be weapons. Knives are one of those.

I’m my state which is South Carolina, There really are no knife rules I’ve went out in public with a knife around my neck where everyone can see it, and you don’t need a permit to carry one, but for pistols you need to be over 21 to buy one but you need a permit to carry one in public and it doesn’t have to be covered with clothes but for rifles you only have to be 18 to buy one and you can keep it in your car.

In the USA knife laws are made by the individual state , like for Florida the legal carry limit is the blade being 4 inches . Other than that it’s pretty much anything you want to carry.
That skull knife is called a karambit and the part you didny know the use for is for cutting threads and stuff like that it also opens thin bottle caps

I believe the ribs on the top of the knife are to use the flint without ruining the blade, here in the us, Pennsylvania to be exact any knife with a blade under 3.5 inches is legal to carry, but cops usually don’t care aslong as it’s not massive
Correction, any length is legal as long as it's not a switchblade or a dagger, the weird bit is that means you can carry a katana but not a longsword, but otherwise there's no length limit or concealment length limit if you conceal a fixed blade
Hmm I have a concealed carry for firearms which basically means I can carry my firearm concealed or open carry in my state so people can see it legally. Knives I’m pretty sure are protected with this law as well. But if you don’t have a permit or anything you can carry a knife with the blade only being shorter than your hand not the whole knife just the blade.
To answer your question we can literally carry a sward on us in the USA and in my state we can carry rifles if we want

Know im late but im pretty sure the black nife is a hunting knife and the grooves on the knife make it easier when cutting the raw meat of an animal
In my state the knife law is that if it’s blade is under 4” then it’s legal as long as it’s not weird, and I think I you can open carry fixed blades
That skull knife is a karambit, that back metal piece might add a bit of structural stability but no real purpose, probably more for looks than anything else. The ridges at the top of the knife is called "gimping" so you can put your thumb there and it won't slip if you put pressure on it with your thumb.
My knife collection probably around $800 rn, cheaper ones are Kershaws, my most expensive ones are from Spyderco, favorite knife is probably the CRKT provoke. Also a karambit but opens and closes cool
