@azizdrives 1.5 TSI, 150 HP.
Diesel here in Sweden would mean 1400 EUR per year in taxes for first 3 years then 400 EUR...
With 1.5 TSI it's 800 EUR first 3 years then 100 EUR. They punish you the most if you choose Diesel unfortunately otherwise it would be my first choice.
If you buy electric car then taxes are 36 EUR per year.
Another example Touareg 3.0 diesel is 2200 EUR in taxes first 3 years...

I have the 2023 Tiguan R Line. I love the way it drive and handle on the road. So much control and composure. I also like the engine and the dsg transmission system. Coming from a hybrid, plugin hybrid and ev owner, I went back to the 2.0 TDI and it’s very efficient. I get 4.9L/100 kms on a 110 to 120kph motorway driving. No more charging for me which I don’t like doing. What a waste of time and money.😊
Loyal to roots. Not too adventurous. Not too bold. But not gonna loose its charm with years. Car from the past for the future...

The towing capability you quoted is only for the largest diesel version

Third quarter 2024 or first quarter 2025. It will have the name Tiguan, but it won't be the car you see here.

I agree. The standard 12.9/13" is more than big enough. The trend is these huge IMAX screen but this car doesn't really need a 15" display.

One day, the R-line trim will get its deserved, differentiating powertrain. Nothing is more upsetting than what VW does with their R-line and Lexus with their F-sport.
Aesthetics alone are such a bore. 262hp at the maximum, for the price they’re asking, is just absurd halfway through 2024.
You can get a 2021 bmw x3 m40i with -33k miles for $10,000 usd less than this 2024 sel r-line Tiguan and actually enjoy what you drive instead of making excuses as to why you spent $45k+ after taxes for this turbo 4-banger. It looks great but it’s still not what it should be for the price point!

@@azizdrivesThanks alot for the answer. Was wondering if you have tested the GLC as well and would wonder how they compare. Where I'm looking to buy the difference between a 2.0 TDI R line (all options) it's quite small than a GLC 200 with the same features.
Just an update. Seen and tested the car. It's cheap. Found a good deal from a nice dealer for a new GLC 200 with all options for only 5K Less.

Last version has a much nicer exterior but the new has a better interior just looks small.. maybe the atlas will be better.

Yeah. The side profile looks like a Nissan and the dash and the touch screens is too much...no more buttons n knobs
I'm not a fan of the front passenger dash ambient display. Should have a screen there instead.

Yes that’s why I got the previous model because of its sleek and sharp design. They got rid of that straight horizontal crease at the side. It’s a bit more curvy now which I am not sure about.

I have a 2019, and was thinking I'd get a new one this year. I hate this! The grill is obnoxious, the shape is bulbous, that giant screen isn't integrated...
I advice you to test drive it. Just try a black one maybe, it really drives well
