  • EF Block stands for Earth Friendly Block. This 5 foot long insulated concrete composite form (ICCF / ICF) is used for all kinds of new construction. In this video you will see how EF Blocks are measured, marked, cut, dry stacked, rebar is inserted and the cells are grouted solid with concrete. This superior ICCF building block has been manufactured in Arizona since 2006 and is made from 87% recycled (post-consumer) Styrofoam or EPS. EF Blocks are 10" wide x 12" height x 60" long. Each block weighs approximately 45-48 lbs. The standard (full size block) covers 5 sq. ft. of wall surface. EF Blocks are both user and environmentally friendly. Superior qualities include: fire resistant, sound resistant, and bugs and termites don't nest or eat it. Buildings made with EF Block are 700% stronger than traditional wood frame; and the walls are equal to an R-40 insulation.
