- The Shaeffer'S Oil Spring Nationals Series invades Lake Cumberland Speedway for the 1st time in this one. Sanctioning the Johnny Wheeler Memorial. He was a great regional driver in our area and always put on a show, and remembered his fans! He drove some of the best cars around here in his time and went by the "Wheel Man" for good reason!! Hope you enjoy and make sure you click the link below to stay updated and see whats next for "The Petitt Life”.

Ya, it was a pretty good turnout for sure! Thanks for commenting 💯
Thanks for the videos guys!! couldnt make it tonight so thanks for catching the action!!!
Any time! Glad you still got to see it through our video. Thanks for commenting and supporting the channel 👊💯
Thanks for another great show guys.
Thanks for watching! We always appreciate you brother 👊💯
Mr. Marlar sure looked strong, especially comin’ off turn 4. THANKS as always for the informative FUN to WATCH video. You are getting REALLY good at calling these. They should put you up where the commentators are at HTF or Flo lol. It must be great to have a spouse that wants to go to the tracks with ya, oh hell yes
Glad you enjoyed it! Ya, it is awesome that Jada likes going too, especially since I'm the one who exposed her to it to begin with lol. There is no way I could do this the way I do if she wasn't all in too. There is way too much work behind the scenes and everything else to do it without her full support and participation. She is actually the one who designs and does the video thumb nails, and takes a lot of pictures and stuff so she contributes to it too. Im glad you said I'm getting better at commentary, I guess it has just naturally progressed over time. Glad to know it has for sure, so thank you for that! Ya was glad to see Marlar have a good showing against al those heavy hitters, that was good for him for sure!
Great video and recording. Every week
Thank you very much!
I've seen Gilpin lead so many laps even back in modified days and flat tire or something of bad luck like that
Ya, n has some good runs now and then, especially here, but he has had some misfortune along the way for sure!
Love your format. Oh do I great job showing the action. Thanks
Awesome, thank you! That means the world to us, Thank you for commenting and supporting our videos 👊💯
Can someone tell me what’s the deal with that identical looking rocket house car? Are they running a second house car or what?
I think you must be talking about Trip Gerald from here in Kentucky. He has been sponsored by Valvoline for along time and his car has looked similar the whole time. His number is 4 and besides being red, white and blue. It honestly to me anyway looks nothing like the Rocket 1 racing machine other than having the same colors. On top of that, it's a Longhorn. Thank you for commenting!
@@thepetittlife5908 bro it looks identical to the Rocket house car lol. You blind?
Great coverage at Lake Cumberland. I was pulling for Carson Ferguson. Looked like he went the wrong way on his setup, for the feature race. Thanks for your dirt racing coverage.
Ya, this place is hard to figure out! Takes most teams/drivers a few times here to figure out how to set up for it as well as how to drive it. Thanks for commenting and supporting our channel!
Good race! Cam.Marler ,is that legendary Mike Marlers Son bro?
Lil bro I think
@cumminsrealpower680 you are correct. Cameron is one of Mike's younger brothers. They both race, the other one is Skyler. David his dad also still races. Now in the Hobby Stock division and is very competitive, still wins a lot of races in our area. Thanks for commenting! @jeremypitts1420, thanks for asking the question !
@thepetittlife5908 Thanks. I only live bout 60??? miles them. I actually grew up at the "Taz". I don't get to go to the races now but I definitely appreciate you and your race coverage. Your vids are always very well done.
@@cumminsrealpower680 Thanks man! We appreciate that 👊🏻
Love your coverage. Lake Cumberland always looks so narrow and hard to pass. Is it that narrow in person?
Yes, it is! Mainly coming out of turn 1 and through turn two...It's kinda odd shaped as were a lot of tracks that were built many years ago before GPS grading systems and all that. It is very technical to drive. So people either love it or hate it for that reason. It's super wide out of 4 and down the front stretch, but to get the right line into 1 you can only use so much of it. Thanks for commenting, and for the compliment!
I've been there twice bout 20 years ago we have always loved that track
Ya, it's very unique, we love it here, thanks for commenting!
Thanks again for the videos. Like that little o track.
You bet! Ya, it can produce some really good racing for sure when it's right!
What sunglasses are you wearing
They are Oakley Holbrooks. They are translucent and fade from dark on the top, to clear towards the bottom. Picked them up on an Oakley factory outlet store down in Daytona in November when we were there before the World Finals at Charlotte.
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for commenting
i forget why it pays $1053 to win
It don't pay 1053, it pays 10,053 and the 53 is bcos of series promoter... Ray Cook #53
@@cumminsrealpower680 ooops, 10053 is what i meant. and DUH Ray Cook. It would have hit me eventually lol, had 3 little guys bouncing on me as i wrote that lol
@MrChristopherHaas completely understand. Lol
So it used to pay $10,031 to win because that was Johnny Wheelers number 31x. But as @cumminsrealpower680 stated all of the series races pay the extra $53 to commemorate the series promotor...Hall of Famer Ray Cook. So for at least this year it changed to $10,053. Thanks for the question though, and thanks to @cumminsrealpower680 for answering you before I got a chance to 👊💯
@@thepetittlife5908 yep, i remember now, thats a duh on my part
