You’re very fortunate to have the friends you have, they’re all like you, they would give you the shirt off their backs to help you in anyway. Great video, better teamwork! Thanks. Kevin
Man I can't wait to see the ol girl back in the dirt!!! That's a sweet machine, glad to see it getting freshened up and going to have a long working life left. Great video and I'm as excited as you about seeing the end in sight. Stay safe out there
"My best work is done in the dark" One of my favorite sayings ever. My Dad told me that on the first house I plumbed around 14-15 years old. Of course I didn't understand it then, and it's funny how many people don't understand it when I say it now! Good video
Awesome she is close to completion. You are my most favorite RUclipsr to watch. I enjoy you and the guys. Thanks for the excellent video keep em coming ole boy.
A giant Meccano set nearly complete Mike, good help along the way has made this job a lot easier for you..... no doubt you have spent a little more than a buck on her.... 👍😎💪
@@DirtPerfect if you look at all of the work ya'll have done on your older machine like when ya'll did all of that welding on the one knuckle the ya'll grinded down and sanded smooth I may have worded that wrong but ya'll know what I mean it was amazed you made a old machine new again brought life to something that most of the time becomes scrap metal sorry comment is so long love the videos and I'm extremely Proud of ya'll thumbs up my friends
Coming along after lots of work! When all's said & done, doesn't really matter if you make the end of AUGUST because what really matters is the job was done RIGHT and all that sweat on the floor is there to prove it as well as show all of you (and others) what 'friends' are all about. Good series for everyone! Thank you. Sonny (CT)
Nice vid Mike !!! Very insightful. You two work together very good and seems like you two have fun at it too. Can't Waite to see her done and digging !!!! Great job my friend.
Mike, You gotta get a bigger watch... It looks like you borrowed Gunners!!! Great series on the 120!!! Lovin it!! Cant wait for the track install. Thanks
I don't know who's going to be more excited to see the 120 leave the shop.....you, dirt less than perfect (aka MBTS), werksalot, or the rest of us.....The anticipation is thick here.....
Good video again I like when you 2 working in the shop looks like y’all get along Good that is the way to make the day go better my friend and The other videos are good to I am a old man now I turn 50 on August 8
I see you had some of those pins chamfered on the ends. It makes things much easier to install and less chance to damage a bushing. Some of our cranes had threaded pins and we had a cone made to thread on them to easily align them into the bore. Instead of pounding on those with a hammer, make a heavy driver to hang from your crane, forklift, loader or trackhoe. We used a 400 lb shaft with an attachment point near each end to keep it level. It made it much easier to tap pins in.
I always enjoy when things start going back together. About as enjoyable as when all the parts are gone and now time to put it to work. Of course finding another part and learning it should have been the first part installed... not so enjoyable LOL
Good thing someone thought to steam clean the machine before you took it apart, makes it so much nicer putting it back together when it not greasy lol.
Using the oil filter pliers to turn the pin was a great idea. I've always used a pipe wrench, but that's a much better idea! Now I just need to buy a pair of oil filter pliers.
Thanks guys for showing. You have had a major undertaking with 120. I take back all my bad thoughts and comments of Dirt Perfect be racist toward John Deere . I will never protest you again. Can't wait to see her in action again.
I went to Truck & Tracks web page last night. Used the CONTACT FORM, Told them I follow you and saw the rail and pad video. I told them I watched to where you MIKEY, invaded the Corporate Admin Office Where HI Level meeting are tended to. Steve reolied to me at 6:51am today. Early Birds.
Hi mike you two are really doing well, doing your days work then coming back to work on the machine credit to you both, one question mike on the track chain vid , I know they used that electric socket set up but did they actually put a torque wrench on those bolts ( didn’t see them do that) it doesn’t hurt to check those machines sometimes and do they need to be turned an extra 60deg like most track bolts are to stop them coming loose, that was one good vid with all you blokes working together including the owners that alone speaks well of them and on video to good job mike.

Well Mike just admitted it was Aaron and him that put The cylinder on. So Aaron is only responsible for half of the mistake. Besides the point that 💩 slides downhill and we all know Jenna's the boss. Mike's the supervisor and it slides down to the supervisor on any mistake is made. We all know the supervisor tries to make your life hell after that. They don't take mistakes well.
