"The density of awesome." A perfect summation of Utah. Everywhere you drive, around each bend, every way you turn your head, there's something breathtaking to behold! I can't wait to visit again and see some of the offerings outside of the national parks.
Gorgeous area. 'The Density of Awesome' explains it well, even with the limited views we get from a short video. Looking forward to the remainder of this series.
I can't get over how beautiful Utah is. There's an odd feeling that I'm "at home" in Utah, more so than anywhere I've traveled (or lived). Every time I'm up there, no matter where I go (even the places between the destinations) I'm always impressed.
Hello there! I came here from Tomas vlog and im gonna stay longer i guess subscribing, checking older episodes and the current one as well :D Good job! Greetings from Poland!
Greetings from Poland! I work in a silver and copper mine, so the place you show in this vlog is especially interesting for me. And of course I found your channel because of Tomek.
Absolutely amazing and beautiful. A bit of Jurassic Park as well. T-Rex 🦖 down the passages side of your truck was so realistic. I’m personally going to keep an eye out for my own Stainless Steel bowl find now. Thanks for taking us along.
I agree- we did that road a month ago and it was great. In your video just before you filmed the antelope you passed through an area with semi-pastures and that's where we saw the wild horses.
Loving this series. I spent a few days in the Swell about a month ago and I recognize some of these locations. Looking forward to the next installment!
The video was great. The T Rex in the distance was cool it looked like it should have been there. So much interesting history!! Thanks for taking us along. Be safe in your travels
Just back in "O", after 16 day ( 5.28.22) , trip. Bryce, Zion, boyhood home of Billie the Kid, amazing scenery, amazingly friendly people. Going back in the fall.
Donald-wow. You are making us want to go back to Utah! The dinosaur….loved it! 😂 The bowl and Jason reference-Hilarious! 😂 This video was awesome. Utah is so amazing!
Another great VLOG of a fav area of mine again. Did you get to the icebox cave behind the cabin where the Swayzeys kept their food cool? Also you didnt show when you showed the horses it but if you were up on the plateau on hidden splendor road. You can see multiple horse herds at the watering hole east of the road. We have spent hours there overlooking the water hole watching the horse herds interacting. Hope you spent some time at little horse slot canyon while at goblin valley. its a fascinating hike.
I love this. Donald, I live in and grew up in Utah. I love seeing your excitement over this state. My parents and older siblings are from Oregon. So I spent a great deal of time in Oregon. My second home. The Swell is amazing. Utah has wild horses all over really. I am glad you enjoyed your trip.
Got a laugh out of you giving a nod to Primal Outdoors' style with the steel bowl sequence just before you cut to a clip of Primal himself. Thanks for the videos!
You got me. Subbed after the Polish guy. Then you trolled the Primal Outdoors guy with his found steel bowl for yoghurt and granola, and faked your find. NICE, lolol. Yes the scenery IS spectacular, and I was equally disappointed in not having the road go through except for quads/ motorcycles etc. The non gracefully galloping horse was also a let down. Beautiful vid, hope to see you on the trail!!
We went through Utah last year. Stayed at Kodachrome St Park near Bryce Canyon. Was just blown away with the area. Somewhat different scenery from Cape Cod Ma LOL. Awesome vid.
Utah definitely has some amazing desert terrain. I have only had the chance to explore a small bit, but I look forward to going back. Jason P. S Your thrift store bowl is not as cool as bowl I found in the river😂
There were unfortunately many many areas that have apparently recently been designated as "wilderness" which limited my drone flying more than I expected. Frustrating, because it's so hard to convey the scale and splendor of this scenery from the ground.
Well finally got a chance to sit down and watch your vid again awesome! that road is testing the suspension on your Nissan what better way to test it. Love the videos
I just saw one of Jason latest video (This One's for the Gear Heads - Overland Expo West 2022) where he has a slight dig about fire wood that made me laugh. nice to see that you can return the favor. I really want to see who can come up with the best Dig ( all in friendship of course). I cant want wait for you 2 to get together again, some of the most enjoyable videos out there!
Haha, he's been relentless with this...that wasn't the first video where he made that joke. The ball's back in his court now, we'll see what happens. :-)
Utah is a stunning state, I remember my road trip through central Utah a few years back seeing places like The Wedge, Buckhorn Wash and Goblin Valley and just being blown away, it’s a totally different experience than we have here up in the NW. I also visited Zion and Bryce national park, they were cool but they were also extremely busy which took away from the experience. You’re doing it the right way. Truck damage certainly sucks but I hope you had a awesome time exploring to make up for that! Sean.
I really hope to visit all of Utah's national parks one day, but I sure did love enjoying all this still-amazing scenery with no one else around and camping wherever made sense.
What an awesome place. I don't think "incredible" even scratches the surface. On another note it looks like you have a new group of fans in Poland. Cheers
So many places to visit. This is right next door as overlanding goes. Yet, I will probably never see it in person. There are just too many other places calling for attention and I'm not getting any younger. Thanks for taking us there and showing us what we are missing. .. I think. :-)
SO many places, it's overwhelming. Even on this trip, I had to drive right past stuff I would have loved to explore. I guess as as long as we're getting out there and seeing *something* and enjoying our amazing public lands, we're coming out ahead even if we'll never see it all.
Outrageously cool t-rex! I recognize where you are, having just begun to explore the area myself. Encouraged by Jared and his videos (nice to see you guys in there) I am enjoying my move to Salt Lake City and getting to explore such unique and varied geography in the south part of the state. Definitely the last frontier!
Utah is amazing.I was able to camp in Zion last year I will never forget my trip west from S.C.
LOl, always gotta take a jab at Jason. That T-Rex alone was worth the price of admission, loved it!. "The density of awesome". Well said.
"The density of awesome." A perfect summation of Utah. Everywhere you drive, around each bend, every way you turn your head, there's something breathtaking to behold! I can't wait to visit again and see some of the offerings outside of the national parks.
loved the whimsy of the added dino animation, at least I hope it is an animation
Hi, I am also sending greetings from Poland :)
Gorgeous area. 'The Density of Awesome' explains it well, even with the limited views we get from a short video. Looking forward to the remainder of this series.
Jest i nasz Tomek 😊
Oh my! A shiny bowl. I enjoy the banter between you two.
Heh heh :-) Not gonna lie, I was laughing to myself quite a bit while filming all that. :-)
I will call that country "Grandios" which to me fits perfectly! Great video! Thank you Donald!!
I can't get over how beautiful Utah is. There's an odd feeling that I'm "at home" in Utah, more so than anywhere I've traveled (or lived). Every time I'm up there, no matter where I go (even the places between the destinations) I'm always impressed.
I am also from Poland. Cool!!!

Pozdrawiam Tomka miło Was oboje spotkać ;)
Thank you . The amount of work you must do to get the information and video has to be unreal . You are very talented. Outstanding video 👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Greetings from Poland! I work in a silver and copper mine, so the place you show in this vlog is especially interesting for me. And of course I found your channel because of Tomek.
Thanks for coming over to check out my channel!
The bowl! LOL. Jason, lol. Dig it!
Haha, I had a little too much fun with that. :-)
That dinosaur was so awesome!
edit to add I really like the music in this one a lot!
I am at a loss for words! This looks like such an incredible area. I’ve never seen any of this. Incredible, beautiful adventure.
Thanks Jared! There's just SO SO much in your state...I don't know how one could ever manage to truly see it all.
Awesome as usual Donald! Thank you! The T-Rex was very cool!

Absolutely gorgeous!!
8:22 nice "Bushcraft" bowl!
another wonderful adventure with you, thanks
Awesome buddy, glad I got on your channel, easy going style and great stuff 👍👍👍love your diy videos, good laugh about the cereal bowl 😂😂😂
you sir, are a great storyteller...thankyou donald
“The Density of Awesome” explains it all in this video. Cannot wait to see the next one in the series.
Really enjoy how you insert your humor into your video. The 🦖 the ss bowl 🍚 and the truck engine were great . Fantastic vistas.
Utah's national parks are mind-blowingly... crowded.
The bowl part. Shots fired 😂😂😂
The best defense is a good offense. :-)
Breath taking scenaries 😲

Super fun video. Beautiful scenery and the metal bowl was too funny.😆
We spend a lot of time in the swell. One of our favorite spots in Utah. Great video, recognized quite a bit from it.👍
Just back in "O", after 16 day ( 5.28.22) , trip. Bryce, Zion, boyhood home of Billie the Kid, amazing scenery, amazingly friendly people. Going back in the fall.

Thanks George!
Stunning! Love the striped columns. Thanks again!!
Got a laugh out of you giving a nod to Primal Outdoors' style with the steel bowl sequence just before you cut to a clip of Primal himself. Thanks for the videos!
Stunning scenery
I love the little digs you guys get in on each other.
Haha :-) He's been hitting hard with the small wood joke, I had to do something LOL
Beautiful! Your cinematography always amazes me! 😍
Great continuation of the series and thanks for giving us a different look at popular area, the first night camp was in an awesome location 👍
Thanks for sharing your adventures, I especially needed this today.
Great entertainment Donald. Thank you for sharing your adventures.
Awesome area thank you very much for taking us along with you, all the best to you and your loved ones
Great episode Donald. Can't wait to see your interpretation of the Goblins.
An awesome trip. We are liking it. Definitely makes us want to come out west and explore.
Great video as usual. Thanks for being a good citizen in wilderness areas!
Fabulous video series!! Looking forward to part III.
Great video Donald! Thanks for sharing! Cheers! 👍🏻🍻🇺🇸
Awesome stuff my friend. 👌Utah is so cool. I love that you are going for the underappreciated sights the state has to offer.
Thanks man! Yeah, SO much good stuff without hitting the national parks. Utah did not disappoint in any way. :-)
Great video!
That area is beyond words!
Fun meeting Tomasz.
Great video, I love all the abandoned stuff you can find out in the desert
Man, another great video! This is one of your best yet. Keep up the great work!
Outstanding area. Superb editing.
There is a whole bunch of ghost towns on the back roads of Utah. Happy Memorial day
Man like 20 minutes ago I was lookin for a new SoftRoadingTheWest video and now there is one! woohoo

Spectacular!
So beautiful out that way sheesh I wanna go see it now
Beautiful don 👍🏽👍🏽
Ok… the T-Tex was pretty cool!
Nice vlog!
love how you and jason make fun of each other
This is one of those places that absolutely justifies a drone purchase... loved this episode, Donald

@@softroadingthewest the footage you were able to capture was great, really showed how that mine operation unfolded up the canyon.
Great video, it's nice to see you expand your exploring area. Great work like always.

🤣 T-Rex was a nice touch! 🤣
LOL...I spent a ridiculous amount of time on that 5-second segment, haha. But once I had the idea I couldn't let it go. :-)
So good! Really enjoying this series!
Awesome video thank you.
Great video! Utah is truly amazing. I'm looking forward to part 3. (Loved the dinosaur!)

Oh, and thanks for the new channel recomendation.
@@pala4833 Thanks Chuck! And yeah, Tomasz really does solid work. Even not understanding a word, I can still kinda follow along.
Thank you for sharing I like your work keep it up 😎👍
I guess I missed the T Rex crossings, but I seen rd signs for deer, Elk, sheep, goats, donkeys, horses, livestock crossings, and cattle open range!
Amazing!

just love it❤
I wish there was a water cachement somewhere out there for the horses, antelope and other wildlife.
Your opening Cowboy Cabin nestled in that arroyo looks like it was in a Zane Gray book.
Loved the dinosaur...
Love the channel slowly getting ready for my own adventures . What PSI do you run you're tires at off road ?
