The Miffy and Melanie bento was so cute! Both sets of your parents are very thoughtful. It just shows that no matter how old you get, parents will always want to care for their children :)
We're always grateful to the warmth and the unconditional love of both our parents😊I'm happy you liked the Miffy and Melanie bento!! Thank you always, Kassy!!
the leftover zucchini meat roll feels like this episode's mascot i appreciate the little mistakes like battering out of order, dropping the lemon, because i always do that kind of thing and i feel better about it after watching this
Such beautiful dishes, Hanako. This made my weekend so happy! The baked cod looked spectacular! I’m so grateful for family & friends online & far away. They keep me grounded when things get tough. I’ve been making bentos for my snacks and lunches. Such a treat!
Hi, Cynna!! Thank you for your heartwarming comment!! I’m glad to heat that you have many people who care about and love you with all their heart!! Good luck making your bentos!!
I watched this a week ago with my daughters and niece on a family trip. It was so much fun to tell them about Japan and the food you were making! Thank you for the sweet content that I can share with my girls!
So adorable! And those sandwiches look fantastic. So glad you received more of those gorgeous peaches again this year. The corn looked so sweet. Thank you, Hanako!
Hi, Meredith!! Thank you always for your nice and kind comment!!This summer is extremely hot where I live, but juicy fresh fruits make me feel a little better about the heat😊Have a wonderful week!!
Hanako I just found your channel and it's amazing 🥺 My mom and i spend literally an hour watching it ! Keep doing your amazing cooking, so enjoyable to watch ❤ sending love from korea ❤
Hi, Beth!! Thank you for your nice comment as always!! I'm glad you liked that somen noodles!! Each of those somen noodles had a subtle great aroma and were very tasty😊
We always appreciate both kind and great parents!! We live far away from them, so we don't get to see them often...but we want to give back to them😊 Thank you always for your nice comment!!
Once again you made beautiful and tantalizing bentos! I love your humour, we all can relate to it. Thank you for an enjoyable video, I look forward to your next one! Have a wonderful weekend!
Hi, Ayla!! Thank you for your kind comment as always!! But is everything all right? You seem kind of down...? I hope you feel better now. Anyway I’m with you!! May your days be filled with joy, laughter, happiness and love!!!
@@hanakoskitchen8868 Hi Hanako!! Thank you for checking on me, you have no idea now appreciated that is and you are!! I've had a little case of the summertime blues but I am starting to feel better the closer we are getting to autumn :) I long for the cooler weather and beautiful colors!! It has been VERY hot here in Georgia USA and the heat and I do not get along, haha! I hope you have a beautiful week ahead Hanako!!
I think that was the largest peach I've ever seen! My goodness, what did your father feed it?! 😂 Seems he had some really good crops this year! Also, the corn rice sounds really delicious and I'm going to have to give that a try. Hope you had a wonderful week!
Thank you for your nice comment, as always!! Those peaches were not grown by my father, they were bought from my local farmer, and he sent them to me.(Sorry for my lack of explanation) That is a famous peach farmer near my parents' house, and they are very well-loved peaches. Surely, what did they feed their peaches😂Anyway have a nice week!!
I didn't know about that rice and cornflower technique, I'll definitely give it a try 😊 all the dishes looked so yummy, I wish my husband would cook for me😢
I know exactly how you feel!! Me too, haha. I hope you will try it out and like it!! Thank you always for your nice and kind comment!! Have a wonderful week, Charmin hime!!
Those peaches are huge! At least compared to the ones in the chain grocery store. I miss asian peaches, they are so good, especially when they're farm fresh. My boyfriend lives near many farms so he has access to a bunch of fresh produce, which is sooooo good, but we are long distance so I am unable to enjoy fresh produce most of the time.
Hi, Ariannasv22!! I didn't know until I read in the comments that Japanese peaches are huge. I hope your boyfriend sends you lots of fresh produce! Have a wonderful another week!!
I'll have to save these recipes for summer - it's winter where I live so the ingredients wouldn't be as fresh. I'm actually just at the airport waiting for my flight home after a week in Japan, so I might need a diet too to work off all the yummy food!
Wow!! I'm glad to know you came to Japan!! It must have been very hot and humid in Japan? I hope you enjoyed your trip in Japan and made lots of fantastic memories😊
Hi Hanako! It is very dangerous to watch your videos when I'm stressed out, because I would immediately look for something to eat! 😂 Anyway, thank you for another great video. I truly enjoyed it. Have a wonderful week for you and your husband.
Your bentos always look so beautiful and appetizing. Thank you for also making healthier options just by changing the cooking method or ingredients. I love watching your videos. Thank you. 🙏🫶😊
Your bentos always impress, Hanako!!! Quick question? When you cook the corn rice, do you use the same settings on the cooker as for when you cook the rice by itself?
Hi, Samantha!! Thank you for your question!! Yes, exactly!! You can make it the way you cook the rice as you would normally cook rice in the rice cooker. Don't forget to add a little less water than usual😊
Ahh, absolutely everything looked delicious in this video! The corn, the peaches, the last bento especially looked so delicious!! You're lucky to have such a thoughtful father :D I've never tried those cold, flavoured noodles though I would love to. I'm keeping my eyes open whenever I go shopping at the Japanese food store that's near where I work ^o^
Thank you always for your nice comment!! I'm glad you liked the somen noodles! Each had a subtle aroma and was very tasty! We have always been very grateful to both our parents. Even though we live far away from them, we really want to give something back to them.
I'm always watching you make those egg roll omelet thanks. Sorry 😅. But for some reason I can't make mine as fluffy as yours. I wonder what i'm doing wrong.
Sweet corn and rice (o_o) i never thought of it! I like adding "sweet" to meat, veggies always being savory for me. And i love zucchini so much! That being said, Miss Hanako, do you have a suggestion of what to do with many limes? I bought wayy too many >.< I dont know how to use them in food before they go bad! Do you think lime juice can work with rice, too, or is it too outlandish? ._.
Hi, Jannet!! Thank you for your kind comment and for your question! Actually, where I live, limes are not as familiar as lemons. So I have not cooked with limes much. Sorry I can't help you... But I just googled and found many recipes for squeezing them and making lime juice or jello. I hope you give it a try😊(I often have trouble buying too much of something too, hehe)
Thank you for your question. I would say that the time to put the peaches in boiling water is about 10-20 seconds, and 1 minute in cold water should be enough.
Aww...That's very kind of you to say! Thank you always for your kind comments, Leigh!! Those words really cheer me up!! But my husband must eat them without hesitation in his office, haha.
The Miffy and Melanie bento was so cute! Both sets of your parents are very thoughtful. It just shows that no matter how old you get, parents will always want to care for their children :)

just got my wisdom teeth out so i can’t eat any of this sadly. but i’ll be eating through the screen!
Aaaand again you have done the big nope! You need to freeze dry your bentos and hang them on your walls…….the look sooooo good
Aww...That's very kind of you to say! Thank you always for your kind comments, Leigh!! Those words really cheer me up!! But my husband must eat them without hesitation in his office, haha.
😍
😆
the "expiration date" is usually a lie. stores in the US call it a "best by" date, and i think it's more accurate.
Miam
Peaches 🍑 yummy 😋
