- Our Ford Bronco power wheels go kart build is one of our best performing custom projects- the custom independent front suspension and trailing arm live axle rear suspension works great. Since we installed this Tillotson 228 engine on this go kart, we've had problems with high RPM performance. The idle and throttle response is fine, but at high RPM it sputters. In today's episode, we fix the problem, and the Bronco go kart rips! We gain a ton of power at the top of the power band, and increase our top speed by 10MPH.

For drilling plastics, acrylics, and such (like that valve cover) a stepped bit is a lifesaver. It leaves a super clean hole and doesn't grab the way a regular bit does.

You can buy drill bits specifically for plastics, they typically have steeper angles than those meant for drilling metals.

I think a future build should be an air cooled VW dune buggy. I think I've seen a few times Isaac having a type one on his property somewhere. Plus you should be able to make it Street legal!

cant turn the front, loosen up the rear.
I’d still like to see the front axle overdriven by a small percentage. It’d be hell on the front chain and sprocket, but I bet you would pull through turns.

now that she rips, you have to do something with the steering, so when you turn the yoke the wheels turn the same amount.
yeah, tip the steering wheel ahead so its not jammed into crotch so hard and adjust linkage so it turns faster
yep. loosing time on the corners because it either understeers or you have to slow down to turn.....

It would definitely give the drivers a boost in confidence knowing that he's not gonna get too much weight hanging over the side & worsening the roll causing it to actually roll or land on him possibly. Hes only able to use the steering wheel for an anchor to keep him sitting up straight when the body rolls around from side to side. Anti roll bar will solve all of this. I wish they would read all the comments.

That is sick man 45 mph! I would have never guessed it would go that fast. I'm sure with some tweaking and a long stretch of asphalt it got 50 in it. Please wear protection guys.

I rejected piped and a few other funs to a kawi prairie 650 I couldn't figure out why I couldn't get it right now while I was writing and I lifted up the air cleaner lid took off in about threw me off the back. Air duh it had a snorkel. Stock it did about 55 and now it does 85 which is pretty good for a 4x4 ATV. If you pump it it'll do a wheelie it's fun to have to ride you just stare with the rear I've even done a wheelie backwards in four wheel drive I was selling them at the time guys would say I don't need one that big I'd fire that up and tell him how it was my wife's. It helped me sell quite a few. The day I put the pipe on on the guys from the shop came running out thought someone was still in his Harley. Watching the bronco diagnosis reminding me of it

I have to be honest when you guys were building that thing I figured it was going to turn out to be some sort of crawler that didn’t work very well I really didn’t think it was going to actually be able to rip I have no faith in you guys but damn that thing hauls now I am really impressed
Wow!! "He's going for distance. He's going for speed." lol. One thing I noticed was that the steering seems to be off. The "steering wheel" was going completely vertical and the front tires didn't seem to be doing much at all. But damn that little beast can go lol. Sounds like a four wheeler! BRRRAAAAHHHHPPPPP lol

That's because they didn't put in a center diff.

@@morgankovarik3649 center diffs are retarded on a 4x4 vehicle (let’s be clear, I’m talking about true 4x4, not awd) It’s just another point of wear/weak link. What it really needs is a selective 4x4 option by making a new version of the front drive axle that the sprocket rides on with a section that’s splined, and another that that isn’t, with a collar that slides back and forth to engage the splines to the sprocket. Then all you need is a push pull cable to move the collar back and forth.
@@carsonhammond6204 that's like putting a Lincoln locker on a front wheel drive car. You can still put a front diff in it and be just as strong as what's there now if not stronger.
all 4 wheels are locked at all times. the front hubs and CV axles made steering very tricky, but it still handles great imo

If I may request a test. Swap front and rear wheels to gain steering traction and nose balast. Caution on the lock to lock as may rub body. Awesome work men. Anti wheely/ rear bumper to protect you guy's?.
I haven't seen the 420 cc golf cart build me and my brother put a 212 predator on our golf cart we got a problem with our torque converter

Just a heads up because I’ve never seen you do it and can’t tell on video, but those foam clamp on filters need to be oiled. UNI makes a good oil and it will help with a lot of your jetting issues. I manage a motorcycle dealership and we have to oil the air filters more on brand new out of the crate KLX 140 just to get them to idle. And don’t be scared to saturate it. It will tack up and give the dirt something to stick to as it’s pulled into the filter.

If you grind a small flat on the cutting edges of the drill bit it won't grab on the plastic lessoning the chance of cracking it.
The flat should run paralell with the drill bit if that makes sense to you.
The flat doesnt have to big,1/32 is sufficient.
I've machined a crap load of acrlic and other hard plasics over the years and this was a life saver, It also helps stop chipping on the edge of the hole.

You guys should put a cheap lift on that durango. I bought a leveling lift for mine that lifts the truck 2 inches in the rear and 3 up front to level it out along with some 285/75r16 (33 inch tall) venom power terra hunter xt tires. Stock tire is a 31 i believe so it will be about 3 to 3 1/2 inches taller which will be a great stanced look, i cant wait!

Cars and cameras, try out an oil cooler for one of your builds. I made one from a 7 in by 12 in radiator, low pressure fuel line, a electric fuel pump running 1.5 -5 psi, with a 6mah craftsman drill battery. You have to drill a hole in the block in 2 locations, one is below the oil level that's a feed line and a return line. I got longer rides out of my engines before getting too hot.
Wow you Squeezed 228 cubes out of that 228cc engine, now that’s a thumper, better call Guinness haha amazing how a proper tune can open your eyeballs and and make the other set climb up into your stomach 😎
