As a kid that had braces I can say with 100% confidence that braces are HELL. The pain is unbearable in the first two to three weeks and every time they tightened or readjusted my braces I couldn’t eat anything without feeling like the nerves in my teeth were exposed for about two or three more weeks. What made it worse were my very, VERY sensitive teeth. I’m just glad I got those bear traps from hell off of my teeth.
The ones about the braces are hilarious, because I forgot that I had braces until I watched the video lmao
Is this a phenomena I’m unaware about 😟 one of my choir classmates got braces a few weeks ago and forgot about them so they got super worried when their mouth started hurting 💀💀

The one with the new kid coming to your school is SOOO accurate it was like their old school was a luxury with everything they’d do while we were stuck at our schools doing actual work. And they would brag about how their old school was. My friend was literally like this when she first came to my school. I actually miss her now she and her family moved after the school year was over. ;(
I did actually have top braces, and I’m getting bottom braces or Invisalign, braces hurt like heck for a bit, but you get used to it. The wire poking is accurate, you also can’t eat things that aren’t soft for a little while, but straight teeth are worth it! Also love the vids😊!

I did not cry when I got my braces. But only because I'd already cried after slamming my thumb in the car door outside the dentist's office the day I was getting my braces. My mom took a picture of me before they started putting them on and after they finished and I looked SO MUCH BETTER after because I hadn't just gotten done crying over my busted thumb lmao.
