I’m actually thinking of quiting my 9-5 job to work as a virtual assistant/social media assistant while pursuing my masters degree. Do you have any advice/heads up for someone who would like to start? Thank you!
Hi Leanna I stumbled across your video, I randomly applied to be VA on a job board and I got a response from a potential client, only thing is I've never ever been a VA but your video being a new VA is hopeful, is there anything to worry about, because I worry about jumping into a field that I don't have a great deal of knowledge. Is this a job that you can learn on the way or you need to know everything first. Thank you if you see this.
I think it depends on what the client needs help with! VAs can do a wide range of work. Sometimes it’s emails and calendar management, but sometimes it could be more advanced with video editing and things like that. If it’s emails and calendar management, I think you can learn as you go!

I would say don’t quit until you have clients!! It definitely took me a couple months to find people that needed help
