My dill (growing from last year) is already 6’ tall - I’m only growing it for the butterflies.

I had garlic chives growing in a 18 inch terra cotta pot for over 20 years (same plant). But it died suddenly. I have been trying to replant with store bought seed and with the seeds I saved from the plants. It has been 3 years and I can't get them to even germinate. I'm frustrated! My flat leaf parsley seeds haven't germinated either in the 3 weeks since sowing in a new raised bed with new raised bed mix. Any suggestions? I'm trying to grow everything from seed this year (my challenge for myself). THANK YOU!!

Chives can be hard to germinate. There might be something wrong with the raised bed mix. I had to amend mine for a bit until seeds were germinating and seedlings weren't stunted

Other than your tomato trellis your plants seem so short. Do you grow okra, vining squash, cucumbers, pole beans, sunflowers, watermelon, winter squash, tomatillos or peppers? My dill is 4’ tall. I guess you grow mostly salad greens and small cultivars of herbs.
