These are great, but I'm afraid the water level indicator isn't. I discovered if you put the indicator in before you put the compost/plants in, the indicator can move and drop underneath the bottom shelf, which makes it impossible to retrieve. lt can also do this after planting up and moving it into the final position as moving the planter causes it to move too. The initial watering also causes this, so, for me, this is a fail but as all mine are planted up, the indicators that have slipped underneath the shelf cannot now be retrieved as they are fastened to the wall.

PlantBox isn't currently available in the USA. Hopefully one day though... 🤞

Are there only specific-sized plants you can put into a plant box?
I put in a daffodil plant (with long roots) in my plant box and someone told me I'd have to eventually take it out and plant it in the garden.

Hi Bingham, we are so sorry your question wasn't answered sooner--for some reason we didn't receive a notification! We recommend planting anything up to the size of a 1 litre sized plant. As daffodils are only seasonal, you may wish to take it out after it has finished flowering to freshen your display for summer and beyond.

How much compost does each one hold

Hi Martin, we are so sorry your question wasn't answered sooner--for some reason we didn't receive a notification! The amount of compost depends on the size of the plants you are using. If you are using a 1 litre sized plant (the largest we recommend) then you will need roughly 4 to 5 litre of compost per PlantBox.
