I always blamed the berbatov transfer. We should have made Tevez permanent instead we blew the money on berbatov. Dont get me wrong, berba was a good player but he didn't suit out fast paced football. Fergie went all out for berbatov and he didn't even trust him in the biggest games. With Tevez we would have easily won the 2010 title and possibly won the 2010 CL against Inter. We probably win the 2012 prem title. Rooney and Tevez was way better partnership than berbatov

Was absolutely brilliant to watch him at Juve and in his first City years where he carried them (besides being great everywhere he played, but that were his peak years imo). Obviously he was a great part of that brilliant United attack with Ronaldo and Rooney too. One of the greatest strikers of the last decade for sure. Even though I think alvarez and lautaro are good forwards, they arent on carlitos tevez level. Its crazy to think they won the world cuo with those two, but when they had way better forwards at their disposal they werent able to do much. But thats because competition was at an all time high, every national team was insanely stacked. Unlike these recent times where most teams are mediocre/average. 🤷♂️
