    Newly subbed, highly interested and pursing disc golf.
    Would love to hear from you about the certain colored discs(blue disc as a base) and plastics that discs are made from do they cause certain dyeing techniques with times of the shortest and best results of dyeing or different paints like house paint with a brush, the last question my dad asked is does this cause flight differences and does it increase the weight or decrease.
    I was guessing it’s acidic so it takes away very small portion of the top and adds the colors so evens it out but I doubt it does anything flight characteristics change.
    Great videos watched a lot and will share this to everyone!

    • @DiscGolfNerd
      @DiscGolfNerd  2 года назад +1

      Almost all disc dyers will tell you that white premium plastic is the best. With other colors you have to understand the color wheel to prevent unwanted browns and ugly color blends. Yellow can be tough to dye well so I typically just use reds and oranges with a yellow disc. It doesn't change the flight and must add some amount of mass but you'd probably need an extremely accurate and sensitive scale to know how much.

    • @DiscGolfNerd

      Hmm. Hard to say. But I would have to guess it was the difference in shampoo. Also shampoo sometimes ends up quite subtle because the dye can sink to to the bottom. Sorry about that. But you can also dunk it again to get more color if you wanted. Keep me posted.
