I'm from Norway and am in a interracial relationship...the way Shaman Durek is explaining Norwegian racism is on point! That is excactly what happend with my family, they tried to find all the wrong things about my now husband...it was like a mean spirit entered especially my father. It actually pushed me to move to Tanzania.
This explaination helped me see the situation clearly from my husbands point of veiw.

I dont care about their personal life, but I always feel sad that people with that kind of skills, being able to help people, that they charge so much that ordinary people cannot affort it. Then you are not working with your heart for all peope, only the rich people.
That is my problem with a lot of healers, they talk about how you can be rich and things like that, and I realize it is because they charge so much for their services. And I think its great that rich people get this kind of things, but like all trickle down economies the poor get nothing and have to live in the dirt with whatever spirituality they can scrape up from their poverty. Which isn't much when you are working two are three job and have so much stress you can't even care for your physical body much less your spiritual body.
I would like the spiritual leaders who are millionaires or billionaires work with their clients and get their hands dirty creating a world that works for everyone. I vibe with this stuff, but I can't afford to get helped. And I am not poor anymore. I want to heal the world. And I think wearing designer clothes and and being only with the upper class is not the way. Spirituality doesn't trickle down. All this and I still think he has wonderful things to say... and I don't know what he is doing to help others, so I am probably off base.
They train and influence other healers who then can offer help to the masses.
He puts out free content and writes books. Please attack trickle down economy and dominant white males who benefit from it while people have their souls sucked out of them, while trying to Make money for these men. Then come back and attack shaman durek for charging what he does.
You don't care about their personal life?...and how can they serve you if their personal life is in jeopardy?.. don't be selfish please bcos you can't afford their charges... people don't value what they don't pay for and you're one of them...

He talked about the childhood trauma of being sexually abused by another male. And he alluded that he didn’t get the support he needed from his family at the time.

Everybody has a good side and a not so very flattering side. There is much to like with each of them, but when you are a public person I think it is important to know how you influence the world, how you use your voice matters. And therefore be careful what you say. And most of all, being humble. If you think about a Very humble person, like Keanu Reeves or Julia Roberts. Would you think they would talk about their accomplishments.? I dont know I just miss seeing some class and the ability to reflect on their actions with these two. Something is missing.
While I definitely understand that, let me offer this - it’s ok to speak about your accomplishments and it just has a place and time. Part of their story is sharing their accomplishments because they are in a space to share that. It’s an interview. How they act in a more casual environment there may be more humbleness and ‘class’ as you say.
This is a time in our society where we are shifting from an old traditional way of life where it was unacceptable to have solid self esteem and confidence at all. The purpose of sharing so openly and confidently serves the purpose to help shift the collective energy from this old way of thinking. I’m not sure if I’m explaining this well, but it’s for a purpose.
I would love to take a course to develop my own gifts more! I feel the energy but I still don’t fully understand how to navigate it all

I'm Norwegian, and I'm spiritual. I have nothing against shamans, and I don't bother with skin color, that's like two centuries ago and I don't understand the issue with it.
I have a totally different issue with Durek. In my opinion he's what you can call a "spiritual narcissist", and there are lots of them in the spiritual field. Benthino Massaro, Teal Swan and Mooji are some examples. These are large egos that learn methods and jargon to manipulate people, in addition to having some gifts, like being able to read people (cold reading or not) and tell them about themselves. This makes their followers believe every word they say, and it's really dangerous because they grab a hold of you in a very deep way.
What Durek has recently said publicly now about children really highlights this. He says that if your children are acting out, they might be influenced by entities, and you are supposed to grab your child, hold them even if they experience it as uncomfortable(!), and literally talk to the entity inside of them, telling it that it is weak, has no power here, and you are sending it to the light. Think about this. Think about the mindf**k that this is for a child. If they don't take it as they are evil, they now think they have evil entities inside of them, and that Durek can drive them out. Wtf? Just be careful with this guy for goodness sake, he's dangerous.

But Durek has also things to learn in life as we all have. But that doesn't mean That he is all wrong. Even a grounded soscialist can say and do wrong things thinking he is right in everything he says, and will be in need for other People to show him other ways to look at things, . but not turn their back on him like many do with Durek. IT is our own lack of spiritual knowledge that gives us spiritual insecurity that again create fear for how to argue with him , which creates hate towards him, I think.

If you look at these cases of people getting involved with narcissists, and what they are put through, Durek follows that pattern right now. He was the reason Märtha stopped officially representing Norway as a princess, and all along he's been trying to cut her off from her family and her people. He's trying to isolate his victim. If you look at what his ex Hank says, his ex manager, and his mother, they all describe a malignant narcissist. And his mother also describes a spiritual narcissist, somebody who doesn't teach people to find their own light, but instead his light which is only lies. Do you know how Osho is? Or any of the other fake gurus I mentioned? He's like one of them, the spiritual field is abundant with them.
