PJ Washington showed star player potential as a double double machine out there. 2) Congrats on Dinwiddie having a phenomenal game. 28 points on 79% shooting is great production to get from a vet minimum contract. The real issue is limiting his minutes so his legs don't get worn out. Also he only attempted 6 threes. 3) Love the energy O-Max and Kessler Edwards had out there. Especially O-Max showing his potential as a small forward. Just give more minutes at this point. 4) Glad Gafford was alright. He played strong in this one. Kyrie provided a steady hand in scoring in this one, especially that 3rd quarter. Great team win. Next up is Boston so definitely a tough one.
Spencer Dinwiddie was aggressive from the jump. His versatile offense (and 1s, threes, dunk, mid range step back) and unselfishly finding the open man for timely threes. The sweet bowling ball pass to Kessler for a wide open layup. Be objective about Dinwiddie's impact and dynamic play.
Kessler Edwards is really a decent player. He is just filling up his role I love his defense, although he missed that layup he still very consistent defensively.
Wild thing is he should've had many more free throws as the commentators even mentioned he was in shooting motion and instead refs unbounded. They've been doing this petty non-whistle stuff to Dinwiddie in recent weeks since he called them out after the pelicans non-call kn the goal tend. Anyway, Spence should've had way more free throws. Two of his turnovers were mehh; J.williams flopping in the end and another inbounding to Dinwiddie when he was out of bounds.
I wish he'd just let it fly sometimes, may not be confident in his shot but i'm sure he could hit some of them. He likes to pass up open looks to drive and kick

This time around, he's still trying to motivate, draw up plays, and he's keeping this team in games despite all the injuries. I think that's a sign they all feel that when they're healthy again, they will beat force to be reckoned with.

Going Zone 3rd Qtr was HUGE as it fixed the confusion of where to be. The other thing was Mavs RELENTLESS attack at the rim. Spencer, PJ and Prosper attacking off Kyrie's success.

Just watch him on the sideline last night watch the time out the rotation it's like he doesn't care about the rest of the games and then when these high pressure games come on suddenly he's jumping up and down he's running down calling out plays I mean can we get this from more often. When he is like that he's a top five coach in the game easily
Somehow, Spencer is playing sort of 6th man, elite bench player and PJ becomes an unstopable force against OKC. This is great. Too many players down, so it will be nights like this and a lot of close calls.
