For the yard of the doll house you can make a pool and do a layer of felt that over laps so she can put her doll “under the water” and make little floaties and stuff!
Hire a maid and teach them how you do the laundry so they can do it for you. They can do meal preps or whatever tasks you need help with so you have more free time with the kids. If you can afford it take advantage of being able to get help!!! Please! It’s worth it

Hey Colleen! I don’t know if you’ll ever see this, but I’ve wanted to comment this for a long time now and your video tonight pushed me over the edge (in a good way) and I have to share. I’m a mom of 3 daughters and I look up to you in so so many ways - who you are a person, mom, and wife. My oldest daughter is 20 and my youngest are 17 year old twins girls. I’ve always felt so connected to you/your videos because of the dynamics of having 3 children (2 being twins) and them having a similar 3 year age difference as your kiddos do. And although my children are much older than yours - you and I are around the same age (I’m 37) - another connection I thought was pretty cool. When I watch your videos, it brings back so many wonderful memories of my children when they were the same age as your 3 sweet babies. As I watch you parent them day in and day out, I truly wish I could’ve had you as a role model back when my kiddos were young or even better have you as a friend. The amount of love you pour into them every single day is so beautiful - how you make every holiday so extra special, the amazing arts and crafts, fun activities, and games you play with them, how you interact with them and make them laugh, how you comfort them when their sad or nervous, how you care for them when they’re sick, everything you teach them and life opportunities you provide, the safe and secure home and family life you and Eric provide, and all the many ways you go out of your way to make everyday so special and put a smile on their faces - it’s something I wish I had as a child but even more wish I could’ve done for my own children over the years. Don’t get me wrong, I love my kids so very much and have done my absolute best and I know my girls would say the same. But I was only 17 when I had my first baby. Things were not always easy, most of the time it was actually really really hard (especially during the younger years of their childhood). I didn’t have much family support or any role models I could look up to for guidance. It took a while but I put my nose to the ground to make a better life for us. We are in a really really good place now but I can’t help but daydream about the mom I wish I could’ve been to them when they were young - a mom like you. I love watching your videos, and in a weird way it’s like they make my daydream come to life by living vicariously through then. I want to say thank you so much for that! Another reason I felt so inclined to share this with you is because I want you to know how much happiness and positivity you bring to my life and I’m sure many, many others. You’re making a beautiful and bright impact in this world and you deserve so so much peace and happiness in life. Your dollhouse is super impressive! I’ve had a vintage dollhouse that I have always wanted to decorate and obsess over but I haven’t allowed myself to do anything with it because my work life is so much. Maybe one day.❤
As an adult woman I would like to tell future Colleen to not tone it down when your kids grow up and act embarrassed if you’re too excited or happy for them. I was that kid with the loudest mom at every function and pretented to be embarrassed but secretly loved it. I never for one second doubted that my mom was my biggest fan and your kids won’t either. ❤
Colleen, you are so good at crafts and art. Your paintings are amazing. My husband was also the one to panic when our kids were sick. Our youngest daughter complained about a sore stomach and he took her to the ER in the middle of the night, while I slept. They sent them home. In the morning he said that he was staying home and taking her to the paediatrician. I went to work. It turned out that she had appendicitis and needed surgery. He has always had good instincts and followed up on them. Parenting is not easy.
Tortilla talk statement…? I didn’t know anything about cuttlefish at all before Flynn became obsessed honestly didn’t even know they existed! Then the other night I was watching a documentary about the ocean with David Attenborough and a CUTTLEFISH came on I got so excited! Then to hear the cool things about then what they eat how they eat their skin being able to change colour to hypnotise their prey! It was all so fascinating and all I could think about was how cool it was and I first learnt about them from you guys! That’s so cool and thank you for sharing!!! ❤

As a person with with generalized anxiety disorder with medical trauma I get the overly cautious. My husband is the chill so I also have a good balance! It is VERY VERY helpful to have a partner that balances you.
COLLEEEEEN YESSS!! The laundry! I have categories so that when I pull it out of the dryer (or off the line), I’m only putting it back in one room/cupboard and I’m not hauling it all over the house.. categories! Kitchen towels in one load every 3-5 days. Boys clothes every 2 days etc. I have ADHD and also Autism - only just diagnosed 2 weeks ago at 43yo. Categories make sense to me, help me organise my life better so I’m more efficient and spend more time hyperfixating on other things 🤣🤣
Tortilla question: Has Flynn played Animal Crossing? I think of him and that game with how they have the bugs, fish and sea creatures that you collect and learn about.
This is so relatable - yes, I could get help, but I need it to be done MY WAY - not because I'm fussy, because I'm me and that's what I need... And like you say, because it's a lot of extra work to get that "help". PS I also hate folding laundry, but now that it's just for myself, it's a lot easier (of course)...

As a mom to a 17 YEAR OLD SON!! When did that happen... anyways, dont turn it down!! Keep up the excitement for them always!! My son rolls his eyes and says im lame or whatever word they use now... but then i overheard him with friends, and he told him he likes it when i get excited, but he doesnt tell me so i dont get a big head. Also, i flipped out at one of his basketball games cuz this other kid pushed so hard he flew. I lost my mind. Later on during fathers day dinner i had the kids tell dad what they loved about him and he brought up how obnoxious we were at games with a smile and said he does love it. He knows we support him always and he love him. I tried so hard not to cry but a tear did fall.
My artist son told me “every artist uses references, none of us are just making things up out of thin air, we need inspiration.” Because I always say the same thing, im not an artist. Because in my head i have these ideas of what an artist is. My dear, we are all artists. Creating is the whole reason we are here! What’s the saying? Art imitates life and life imitates art.

I know you can send clothes in “packets” and ask they be returned in “packets” it may cost more but I have seen this done. They sent the packets in pillow cases
Your dentist will tell you lol, I have been told I’ve ground my teeth so badly they’re shrinking but I have an issue with clenching, loud sounds, cooking, using my hands for a task my teeth are clenched so hard it surprised everytime I haven’t chipped all my teeth on each other
Colleen you can put dirty laundry in plastic bags and mark each bag with a sticker asking the service to group the folding as per the plastic bag. Also you can continue as you do it is 100% ok!!! We all have one thing or the other that we are not happy about doing but we have to and we complain about it to our friends so pls continue as you wish ❤ lots of love ❤
I literally feel exactly the same way about doing laundry. I have no problem washing the laundry and putting it in the dryer. My problem is folding and putting it away. You would be shocked at the amount of clean laundry sitting in a hamper and a basket in my room right now. Oh my God I thought I was the only one.

That's so hilarious that you say that you're the panicker and Eric is the calmer...same girl! The other night my son got a fishing hook through his finger that had a barb on it & I was in tears panicking before my son (17 yrs old) drove home from the lake to go to the ER. Hubby said when he gets here you need to calm yourself so you don't get his nerves up & scare him. I went in the bathroom and took 5 mins to breathe before he got home & I tell you what he was right if I would have been in the panicked mode I was in he probably would've been a lot more freaked out to be in the ER to get the hook pushed through his finger and cut thankfully it went very well he was a CHAMP! ❤🙏❤ So I totally understand.
Copying is replicating an image..a reference can be using only a part or getting inspiration from image. A reference isn’t always an attempt to recreate an existing image 😊
Omg Colleen get out of my head. I was literally looking at the heaps of laundry I have to do and thinking why don’t I have someone do this for me. And then I replied to myself I have a system and specific way of doing my laundry and it would be so annoying to explain that to someone. My mom offered to do my laundry several times but I never took her up on it until recently and I hated how she did everything. I realized that I just have control issues 😅
I go to a dental sleep medicine facility to check my teeth. You should be able to get a referral from a dentist or a GP. if I’ve been grinding they can tell. But also my dentist does 3D scans every year and can see where I’ve worn down my teeth. It’s definitely worth checking, I actually wouldn’t know I grind my teeth if it wasn’t for those checks. I wear a mouth guard/stint which every 6 months I have to get adjusted because I grind my teeth so much. Teeth grinding is also hereditary. I asked after I noticed my two year old grinding her teeth of a night.
I didnt get to celebrate Halloween either. Halloween is my favorite holiday as a grown up, because it's all about creativity and self expression and being dramatic.

COLLEEEEEN YESSS!! The laundry! I have categories so that when I pull it out of the dryer (or off the line), I’m only putting it back in one room/cupboard and I’m not hauling it all over the house.. categories! Kitchen towels in one load every 3-5 days. Boys clothes every 2 days etc. I have ADHD and also Autism - only just diagnosed 2 weeks ago at 43yo. Categories make sense to me, help me organise my life better so I’m more efficient and spend more time hyperfixating on other things 🤣🤣

This is so relatable - yes, I could get help, but I need it to be done MY WAY - not because I'm fussy, because I'm me and that's what I need... And like you say, because it's a lot of extra work to get that "help".
PS I also hate folding laundry, but now that it's just for myself, it's a lot easier (of course)...

As a mom to a 17 YEAR OLD SON!! When did that happen... anyways, dont turn it down!! Keep up the excitement for them always!! My son rolls his eyes and says im lame or whatever word they use now... but then i overheard him with friends, and he told him he likes it when i get excited, but he doesnt tell me so i dont get a big head. Also, i flipped out at one of his basketball games cuz this other kid pushed so hard he flew. I lost my mind. Later on during fathers day dinner i had the kids tell dad what they loved about him and he brought up how obnoxious we were at games with a smile and said he does love it. He knows we support him always and he love him. I tried so hard not to cry but a tear did fall.

My artist son told me “every artist uses references, none of us are just making things up out of thin air, we need inspiration.” Because I always say the same thing, im not an artist. Because in my head i have these ideas of what an artist is. My dear, we are all artists. Creating is the whole reason we are here! What’s the saying? Art imitates life and life imitates art.

For the record, I also can rarely create a painting or whathaveyou without following a tutorial or having a reference to look at. It's kind of odd because my brain concocts visual metaphors constantly, but when it comes to visualizing something artistically, I can't seem to do it.

I know you can send clothes in “packets” and ask they be returned in “packets” it may cost more but I have seen this done. They sent the packets in pillow cases

Your dentist will tell you lol, I have been told I’ve ground my teeth so badly they’re shrinking but I have an issue with clenching, loud sounds, cooking, using my hands for a task my teeth are clenched so hard it surprised everytime I haven’t chipped all my teeth on each other
Colleen you can put dirty laundry in plastic bags and mark each bag with a sticker asking the service to group the folding as per the plastic bag. Also you can continue as you do it is 100% ok!!! We all have one thing or the other that we are not happy about doing but we have to and we complain about it to our friends so pls continue as you wish ❤ lots of love ❤
I literally feel exactly the same way about doing laundry. I have no problem washing the laundry and putting it in the dryer. My problem is folding and putting it away. You would be shocked at the amount of clean laundry sitting in a hamper and a basket in my room right now. Oh my God I thought I was the only one.
Mom of three here, I’ve tried the laundry service a few times and I TOTALLY agree! It is not worth it unless they’re putting up the clothes too😂

That's so hilarious that you say that you're the panicker and Eric is the calmer...same girl! The other night my son got a fishing hook through his finger that had a barb on it & I was in tears panicking before my son (17 yrs old) drove home from the lake to go to the ER. Hubby said when he gets here you need to calm yourself so you don't get his nerves up & scare him. I went in the bathroom and took 5 mins to breathe before he got home & I tell you what he was right if I would have been in the panicked mode I was in he probably would've been a lot more freaked out to be in the ER to get the hook pushed through his finger and cut thankfully it went very well he was a CHAMP! ❤🙏❤ So I totally understand.
The painting “copying” that’s called a reference❤😊😅❤!!
Copying is replicating an image..a reference can be using only a part or getting inspiration from image. A reference isn’t always an attempt to recreate an existing image 😊

Omg Colleen get out of my head. I was literally looking at the heaps of laundry I have to do and thinking why don’t I have someone do this for me. And then I replied to myself I have a system and specific way of doing my laundry and it would be so annoying to explain that to someone. My mom offered to do my laundry several times but I never took her up on it until recently and I hated how she did everything. I realized that I just have control issues 😅
I go to a dental sleep medicine facility to check my teeth. You should be able to get a referral from a dentist or a GP. if I’ve been grinding they can tell. But also my dentist does 3D scans every year and can see where I’ve worn down my teeth. It’s definitely worth checking, I actually wouldn’t know I grind my teeth if it wasn’t for those checks.
I wear a mouth guard/stint which every 6 months I have to get adjusted because I grind my teeth so much.
Teeth grinding is also hereditary. I asked after I noticed my two year old grinding her teeth of a night.

I didnt get to celebrate Halloween either. Halloween is my favorite holiday as a grown up, because it's all about creativity and self expression and being dramatic.
