Welcome to the Wattlebray draft of 16 bulls for the 43rd National Charbray Sale.
Lolita and I are extremely proud this year to sell alongside our four children who are also offering 2 through their newly formed “Lone Starr” stud as fourth generation Charbray breeders.
This year we‘re celebrating 25 years as Wattlebray with the Ford family now breeding Charbray seed stock for more than four decades.
Proven pedigrees and constant selection over this time and using Charbray sires is the reason we believe these C5 & C6 bulls will deliver you predictability and consistency every time.
Our main aim here is to breed these predictable, consistent and functional seed stock and market them under the Certified Charbray Trademark.
Breeding fertile bulls from fertile females through our "calf or carcass policy" and maintaining an efficient productive cow herd is our philosophy for success.
These bulls are bred in a J Bas 7 herd and we use in herd performance recording, semen testing, scan data as well as vaccinations with 3 Germ Blood, 3 Day Sickness, 5 in 1 and Botulism to insure your new sire delivers you outstanding results.
