I agree. It's so difficult. I'm in for a year and multiple accounts blown. BUT.. I love trading, and I won't give up when I want to achieve something. I'm now a great swing trader. Just need to work on some patience then I'm good!

@MichaelBamber totally, bro. I don't even feel bad about losing anymore because I always learn from it. I'm now at the point where I can indenitify decent swing trades, but I'll either A) exit the position far too early or B) overtrade in between wins and hand back my profits. But at least I know what my issues are, and I will correct them.
@@FXTrader247 that’s a mental game problem mate not technicals. Work on your mental game. Start writing down how you’re feeling when you enter live positions. Self awareness is key!

Making money is not the same as keeping it there is a reason why investment aren't well taught in schools, the examples you gave are well stationed, the market crisis gave me my first millions, people shy away from hard times, I embrace them.. Well at least my advisor does lol.

What u said between the 5th and 6th minute is the most important reason I believe people fail forex. Lots of different strategies work but just like I did people change it too soon and it becomes a vicious circle. This is a video in itself. Keep going with the good content Michael :)

Stocks and cryptos are a lot of consistent, while there are WAY too much retest in forex then outta nowhere turns into consolidation and goes randomly up or down

Great video bro! Ive recently just started using the daily, 1hr and 30 min for entry. Seeing how the daily closes and then entering around London in the same direction on the 30 min. As you said, just go with the current trend. Have a great week mate!

What I don’t get is how you know that a strategy has a positive expected outcome. What if you let the probabilities play out and just ends up break even? Is there a certain amount of trades you would backtest before you decide that a strategy is profitable over time?

Trading a trending chart is easy, if you can't do that then you should probably quit. BUT, if you've traded forex for any length of time you'd know it doesn't always trend. There are long periods of sideways action or chop. This is what kills you. The faster you can recognise chop the better trader you'll be.

I 'm a complete beginner and was wondering what you think about ICT and SMC ....it sounded like you were briefly negative about it but it also sounds like you are using similar concepts that some say ICT is the father of (liquidity grabs etc)...I'm asking because i started the ICT mentorship and want to know if it's a waste of time going all in on (since I've read mixed reports about it online). Thanks in advance.
Really appreciate the advices offered. In my opinion, this is the real secret which everyone tries to pursue, offered in a balanced, simple, straight forward way from a person full of gratitude. Yet, the majority fall in the trap of the marketing materials about Forex which do sell actually. People forgot to pay attention on what really matters. They'd rather focus on what they want to hear and instant results, instant gratification. Finally, they do start to get disappointed and blame everyone. The rat race in another shape and form.
Such a valuable piece of advice of actually focus on the skill, not 10% ROI goal per month.

@@MichaelBamber I've been following your content for about 1.5 year. I can see so nicely your evolution process and really apreciate your stile of keeping things private but at the same time offering insights, without flexing or showing any damaged ego signs....unfortunately, something rarely seen on social media. I've started my journey 2 years ago, however actually opening a live account I did around a bit more than 1 year.
To share with everyone and be transparent, my first year have recorded -40% of the capital, however with the appropriate education and risk management implemented since the beginning, was lucky to not blow completely any account (just partially :)).
Currently struggling to compete and manage FOMO. I do feel that my practical and technical game is at a suficient level to stay consistent with the profits at least, however the mental side needs to be improved. Other mental problems which other might find themselves in as well as are greed, not treating trading as a business as well as entering a trade just for the sake of it.
However, the right systems are been put in place, the problem has been identified and the next challenge now is to overcome it.

Its like farming now. The signal appears near 6 o'clock terminal time. Place order and hold for the day. Close near 18 o'clock terminal time. Or take profit at average movement of the previous days.

@@MichaelBamber Make four vertical lines at 6 o'clock, 12 o'clock, 18 o'clock and 24 o'clock. Another two at 8 o'clock, 16 o'clock. Then just look at it. Can you do it right now?

Michael I am a consistent intra-day trader, working for a London Hedge Fund. You are really overcomplicating something that is really simple. Plus I can see where you enter the market too, from your other videos. You need to make changes to your market entry, as this will give you an automatic 10-12% increase in your strike rate too.

@@MichaelBamber Institutions go in the other direction, as if it was the main direction too. Take a look at your price levels too, as you could easily add an extra 10-12% on top of your strike too. Plus have the addition of your amygdala not being triggered too, aka trading psychology.

@@EditorGrav To access the hierarchy above, as he is trading like a typical retail trader. To do something, go to be the best at it. Plus his amygdala and lizard brain won't activate too, therefore it is two for one.

Hi Michael, I've been trading for a while on and off for a few years & I'm starting to see consistency now. I im jobless and hoping to try a prop firm challenge in a few months. I've applied for loads of jobs but only got a full-time warehouse gig 11 am-7pm, im not sure whether to take it, I figured I could use FX replay after I finished work but nothing beats the actual live reaction of a here-and-now trade.
Hey mate, is there a way you could execute and manage trades at work? Obviously possible if you’re entering on the M15 for example, not so much if it’s the M2. It’s your call. Personally in that situation I’d like something a bit more part time especially if you’re at the point of consistency. But at the same time don’t be afraid of taking it, to save more money to then put you in a better position finance wise
@@MichaelBamber Thanks for the reply mate. Financially the warehouse is great but its target based so there's literally going to be no time to whip out the phone unless im on the measly 30min break.
@@virtuousvillainmotivation in that case mate the decisions on you. It’s obviously better if you have more time to enter and manage trades especially if you are consistent. But if you do have up until 11am to trade then you could quite easily trade LOKZ and make it work

Soo true. I had that problems for long time of periods. I daily is red, why you Enyz taking buys, "try to sweep sellside and go up au really up"..no...1 win, then 3 lose..now if daily red we going short bby. I don't f... care.
