It’s mostly adrenaline and when ur actually on the trail u don’t feel shit
Farther down the course it gets warmer. They are on top of a massive mountain so it gets warmer. You don’t want to over heat, I’d for sure be cold than hot
If you want an actual answer, the body gets hot from all the kinetic energy and also the muscles working hard. They wear shorts so their legs are naked allowing the cold breeze to neutralise them.
Fun Fact: That's also why you go red when your hot, your body basically pushed all the blood towards your skin, which is closer to the air which will then cool down the blood and stuff.
Uh yeah, fuck that. I bike all the time but aint no way you're getting me to bike 80kmh in zero visibility down a mountain.

Tom spoke to Thaila, that this race is what he going to do this summer.
So he bookmarked his calender for June/July.
He spoke the whole year about it and how he is preparing for it.
Then he finally flew to France to attend this event at one specific day. A day who pretty much everybody bookmarked in their calender if they wanted to join.
There were other people too.

and Maggie from Great Britain.
Anyway point is, a lot of people from all kind of different places that all came together here on this specific day.
