I love how everyone went on a gaslighting campaign to retroactively convince the internet Gwimbly's a real platformer mascot, with this episode being an epic crossover.
Funny you mention they’re gamers. Zach Hadel, one of the creators of Smiling Friends, is part of a gaming channel called “OneyPlays”. A few of the voice actors are also part of this channel.
3:51 guess you didn't played much ps1 back in the days ? Gwimbly was iconic, it's really cool to see that they got the right of that character, no wonder they made this the first episode, they wanted to start strong
He might have been a Nintendo kid growing up. Unfortunately, due to rights issues, Gwimbly didn't make it to the Nintendo 64 and only had one spinoff on the Gameboy.
"It's *MY* IP to sit on and do nothing with!" This is one of the biggest complaints from people who love games, that companies are hoarding IPs like dragons with gold and are refusing to do anything with the IP or sell it to someone who is interested in using it, it's infuriating and a big reason why some people are hoping that big publishers collapse, because it would then release these IPs (possibly in the same way that THQ sold each IP independently to bidders, rather than just getting eaten up by another bigger company like Activision/Blizzard with Microsoft)
While you did like an answer to my comment, you did not answer. Which is an answer in itself. A rudeness most typical of a dutch, maybe with some prussian blood mixed in. A shame, I did enjoy your channel, and could bear to watch it, hoping you were swedish or something. But I can't condone a batavian.

Yeah, sure, nice gaslight, troll, gaslighting people into thinking we're gaslighting them about Gwimbly 2: Electric Gwoombaloo
who said anything about gaslighting
didn't you at least have the gwimbly spin off racing game that everyone had on the wii?
it was terrible, but yknow... nostalgic
You think that was gaslighting?
You must've had no childhood, Gwimbly was the shit man.
Gaslighting isn't real, you made it up because you're crazy. Gwimbly has always been an icon of gaming, everybody knows that.
What do you mean Gwimbly isn't real? I watched the Gwimbly cartoon show in the 90s every week?

Starring Joshua Tomar's iconic brap rap.

"I feel like this was directed by Zach Snyder" - no, different Zach.
Now here's an important question:
If you were dying would you drip a chicken nugget in your own blood and eat it?
Well how else am I gonna get it back in?
Average Zach hypothetical
Iconic prolapse
I figure they can’t force someone to accept their help because it either could or has led to a lawsuit against them in the past.
I wish they would remake Gwimbly, such an iconic critter from my childhood.
Gwimbly's Revenge was probably the best one. That one submarine level was bullshit though, almost quit the game because of it.

One of the creators of this show starred on a gaming channel (Oneyplays) so that explains the gaming commentary
Your reactions are the best!
Yea Zach (voice of Charlie and others) is a regular on OneyPlays. They are very much in to video games and such
If this was with a modern videogame likely this would be turok
Nice ❤
Dont you mean mr.boss?🤔
Great reaction, Smiling Friends is really good. Quick question, are you of German, Dutch or Scandinavian descent? You have a very germanic phenotype.
