  • Sandia National Laboratories has been working with AquaHarmonics Inc. to test their wave energy converter (WEC) power take-off (PTO) system. Testing was conducted at the Sandia Wave Energy Power Take-off (SWEPT) Lab. The testing campaign targeted functionality assessments and validation of numerical models to support future design refinements.

    The Ocean is going to put immense wear & tear on this thing. And look how complicated it is with so many moving parts. I hope it works but the upkeep will be too costly to make it viable ..imho.

    how do you transmit the power from the sea floor? to where it can be useful
