I feel the mania match is LA Knight v Logan Paul. Fastest rising heel and face. They’ve laid a bit of groundwork for it for a while. But I could also see them wanting to do Logan v Kevin Owens, Ricochet or Bad Bunny. And LA Knight is a potential match for any champion. But yeah I think it’s Knight v Paul. They made some Saudi money off LAs popularity and protected him but his big win is probably mania.

The way LA Knight cut off Roman's intro and he sat at the "Head of the Table." He's a Superstar, and he is ready to carry this company. The sad part is LA Knight didn't win, and now Roman is off for another 2 months if the reports are true and we won't see him till 2024. WWE needs a World Champion that can be on TV all the time.
The groundwork isn’t there for LA Knight to be universal champion right now. Sure he could do it, although he would make the company less than Roman does (not just a problem with him), but it’s just not been set up. It looks like they’ve been planning LA Knight to win the US title from Logan Paul to be honest.
I don't think it was the right time to crown LA Knight tbh, though this match and this feud showed that he could absolutely hang with Roman. Plus, although repetitive, the finish completely protects LA Knight, and he can hopefully turn that into a story and a point in pride that it took everything Roman had to beat him.

As someone that does the art for the show: every aew segment is easy when it comes to drawing something, but on the wwe side, LA knight segments are some of the toughest to come up with. He’s just missing one thing..
