i know how it feels, my familiy used to have a rescue dog! he was apparantly malnurished and negolected, the poor borzoi. then, his paws started bleeding and then he wasn't here anymore. now, i have a kitty cat, and god knows when i loose him i'll be a shell of a person for a while.
My dog died today, too. Boxer cardiomyopathy. I had a hunch something was up since he wouldn't eat this morning [and he LOVES food], and I got the news that he passed peacefully while I was at school. Hope your dog is resting in peace, too.

Thank you. I had to put down my dog I've been with since childhood. I was reminded of that fact the day before and began holding him closer than I ever did. After it was over, I was (hell, maybe I still am) a mess. This song helped. I have been driven to tears on a few occasions because of this song. I read the description. I'm sorry for your loss. pets might not live forever, but they can live on in your memory at least. I’m so sorry about your dog, and my words probably seem empty to you but pets are special and you should cherish the time tou have with them.

Its been a while sence i heard this song, but its the first time ive truly understood it. Its been 3 months (almost to the day) that we had to put down my dog, Dozer. There is not a day that goes by that i do not miss him, but as long as i live, he lives on in my memory.

Yeah- i didn't understand why euthanasia was so sad until i pay attention to the song, and remember my dogs which passed away a long time. One died in 2020, august, the other in 2023 february 14th. I cried guys, i just love dogs so much
