When you are that cute, you don't have to be a great hunter. Thanks for sharing.

No bunnies were harmed in the making of this video.
Always great to see these three snuffleupaguses on fine form and making friends.

Maybe get the hounds a few bunny dolls as a consolation prize. :)

It's nice to see the hounds having fun just being Bassets. ♥The hounds seem to be hot, it's freezing cold here in Baltimore, Maryland USA.

It's warm here but we don't have our usual summer heat. There are many here who feel like summer has skipped us.

Incredible how you can't even see the bunny. Nature is amazing. I think my beagle would have picked up that bunny.

Same with my basset Dax, he is a great hunter of squirrels, could never catch one (thankfully), but he keeps trying.

Belated happy New Year to the whole herd of hounds from Kentucky. I'm the smart alec who, watching a livestream of yours, recommended in chat that Northern Hemisphere viewers should turn their screens upside down for the full effect: you saw that and laughed, saying, "Yeah, our drains don't go the right way either." Yes, exactly. I understand how technology works but it's a real thing to contemplate that I can, through telepresence, and at negligible cost, go for a "walkie" with someone 17 Time Zones away, with more than 6,000 miles of solid rock between us.
I've been watching for a couple of years now, and the Flat Ones always make me smile. I was partially raised by a Basset Hound, two years older than me (name of Troubles, short for Troublemaker).

There is a reason police use Blood Hounds and not Bassett Hounds.

Have the hounds ever been successful in terms of catching a bunny?

They should have longer paws, like Russian Basset hounds.
