Really enjoyed this one Max. Walking through Yantai mountain was a real treat. The largest, oldest Banyan trees I have seen were in the islands of Vanuatu in the Pacific ocean. Thanks again.
@@WalkEast The island nation of Vanuatu is just 3 hours by plane from NZ. I have been several times and I even lived there for 4 months with the native people on the island of Epi 10 years ago. More recently China has funded many projects there such as roads etc., which have been very helpful to the ordinary people there.

That's a good observation. These letters just refer to the different cities in Fujian province. For example, the Capital A refers to Fuzhou and D refers to Xiamen which is another great city in Fujian.
Fuzhou is quite an underrated city and is under most Chinese people's radar. I hope more and more people can discover this gem.

东南亚的馬來西亞,也有两個被擧称為(小福州)的地方,一處在東馬的(诗巫)镇。另一虑在西馬霹雳州的(實兆遠)這東西两邊的福州人,都以贩賣一種稱作(戚繼光,光餅)出名。還有红糟酒面線。今天来到視频的真正福州觀景,突然覺得街市人影不多,但是给我個人的感覺却有王维所說的:深山不見人,但聞人語嚮。城牆屋瓦两邊伸,隔海鄉音萬里仁。自古尤来一脉繼,親疏遠足印深陳。
意境，还是意境。您的留言总是如此有意境，让我跟着你诗意的引导，仿若置于了一个非常梦幻的场景，虽然我自己是拍摄这个视频的人，但此情此景依然觉得非常美好。。

谢谢提供这么好的影视节目太饱眼福了。我是福州人在仓山烟台上对胡路出没了五年。很想念那地方。眼在天方尽在眼前。。。谢谢当地政府和有识之士的尽力保护，修复和有理开发。现在变得更迷人了。福州的仓山就像欧洲的威尼斯 。虽然现在住的人不是都最有钱，但给地文化和历史渊源很深。当年马克普罗在福州不知是否也住那里。他们意大利文史记载的福州音译就叫“福秋”福州话的音译。
超级理解你对这里的情感，这里依然还在修建修缮中，还有一半的地方没有完工，完工之后只怕会更加漂亮，我就是围着这里走了一个圈，仅此而已，如果深入其中，一定会更好，只是里面都是工地，要等完工后的美丽，只怕还要一段时间。但现在有这意识才是最宝贵的，福州未来一定会更好！

以前仓山区到处都是这样的小洋楼，后来被拆掉好多，建了那些新的住宅楼。幸好政府醒了，把剩下的近代历史建筑好好保护。漫步老苍山很像在厦门鼓浪屿，只是鼓浪屿太有名，鼓浪屿的清幽已经被商业和游人吞没
哇哦，幸好及时打住了，估计拆了不少历史风味独特的建筑。
目前这里正在大肆建筑中，所以我也只是窥其一斑，期待这里将来能够成为美妙的建筑博物馆。

中洲岛五口通商时是海关衙门的所在地，本来很有历史意义的，但是在90年代末被拆了，盖上了审美很迷惑的土味西式建筑～非常可惜。好在现在福州市政府的审美品味回来了，一些新的整修项目做的很好。
