  • In November of 2015, terrorists attacked the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bamako, Mali. Popular with Westerners, several Americans were staying in the hotel, including a State Department contractor. Before the morning was over, two DSS special agents rallied three other Americans to fight through smoke, bullets, and hand grenades to save as many as 18 people trapped in the chaos. Hear firsthand from the agents who saved lives that day.

That seems like very strange way to describe someone who supposedly faced death to save you, and others. Saying that they were in the back seat and that he can pound his chests all he wants… Do you disagree with Kyle’s past testimony?
(My personal intuition says that Kyle was most likely the point man doing most of the work given that he was in CAG. If he wasn’t able or willing to be the one to take the tactical lead then he would not have been in CAG. Obviously he wasn’t the ground commander but that doesn’t mean that he was not the most heroic.)

@@BK-ce3yg Maybe the fact that you think Kyle was in there for a few hours alone speaks to why Terry feels how he does.
How was it that a team located and extracted Terry, if Kyle Morgan had been alone?

It blows my mind, and actually upsets me, that the was no mention of Kyle Morgan. He is the delta force operator who was the only person to take immediate action and enter the hotel on his own, saving numerous individuals. After a few hours of Kyle clearing the hotel on his own, did the the US federal gov allow there people to take direct action.
It’s sickening that Kyle did not get any recognition for his bravery. I’m sure the State Dept will say that it’s classified or something but it’s no secret. Many people, including Kyle himself, have talked about it on podcast and released video.
Kyle is an American hero. God bless our troops.

It’s interesting you say Kyle received no recognition for his actions. In fact I attended his medal ceremony. So, he was recognized.
You mention that since Kyle has spoken out about his role he should figure prominently in this podcast. Please recall that Mr Diamond and Mr Pack are currently serving and must abide by the classification and dictates of law, regulation, and policy. Throughout this podcast they make reference to the other Americans serving with them in the response to the attack.
I can attest to the bravery and decisive action of all of our team in Mali that day-ALL of our TEAM. Mr Diamond and Mr Pack would agree with that assessment and would never try to diminish any other members contribution.
Sad that this has become controversial.
