Hi Yvette👋. I looked googled whether you can propogate hoya tendrils (in water) and the answer was yes as long as it has the roots on it and or nodes. I cut off some long tendrils from my hoya mindorensis just yesterday but threw them out. I will definitely try with my next tendril clippings and see what happens. I love that hoya Bella, the colors are so pretty! I have one stem and hope it branches out. Thanks for sharing! Dee, NY
Thanks for the tip DeeMari! Hoyas are AMAZING!!! I propagated my Hoya Bella Lous Bois last year directly in soil/sphagnum and she did okay. It was rough for moment, but she had leaves on her. I've seen people keep the hoya kerii leaf alive in soil (she won't grow without a stem though). I'm so excited to see if these bare tendrils will grow roots and leaves.🤞🏽
She is actually doing fine. I checked on her yesterday and although I didn't see roots, her leaves were stiff. I think she's gonna make me a grand plant parent🤣
I’m wondering if your Hoya has flatmites. I found most of my Hoya had them as well as other species so I treated all my plants and they exploded with growth after treatment
@@yvetteboonecreates I’ve used a liquid sulfur concentrate from Walmart lawn and garden blue bottle. It has helped but those suckers really stick to the Hoyas and need many treatments

Love your channel! Always informing and laid back. That Lisa is gorgeous ❤
Thank you so much Shirley! Definitely laid back, no hard bottom shoes or button ups over here 🤣
“She’s an alcoholic “ hahhhaaa
I get super silly when I get sleepy...most of the shenanigans happen then. TBF...she definitely looks like she needs a meeting though
Sis. Is Hoya best to start with houseplants.??
Yes, definitely. I think hoyas are a great starter plant.

I've been treating my plants with sulphur for over a year. Most likely I will re-treat soon just in case. Thanks for the tip.

That sounds way more convenient than the powder version I got. Thanks again.
