If a gasoline engine powered pump is running supplying the water , how come a gasoline engine couldn't be incorporated in the spinning of the boring shaft ? , sure would speed up the process & make it possible to drill several wells , in the time it takes to drill one using human power
a lot of ifs and "could", guessing in this case comes down to design features available and initial cost-efficiency of the project? YOu could look into drawings of this and design / provide a coupling which would allow that
This machine is easily taken apart and put on a simple truck or even canoes. This is a cheap machine for a big problem. Just because it's manual doesn't make it back.
